Ok, so here's my predicament:
My girlfriend sent a very important email requiring a response within 30 days, and that time period is almost up. She contacted the person who is supposed to be responding and they said they never received the email.
She looked in her records and she had accidentally sent it to xyz@vorizon.com, instead of vErizon.com
My first thought is that perhaps Verizon owns the vorizon.com domain for that very reason. I called technical support and they said that they don't think it autoforwards. Not a definite "no."
ANYWAY, the point of this is, if anyone out there has a personal verizon account and wouldnt mind letting me send them a test email to let me know if xyz@vorizon.com makes it to their email account, I would greatly appreciate that!
If you would, please private message me your verizon email address.
Thank you so much!
It’s the Vortex.
Doesn’t matter anyway. She sent it to the wrong address.
Technically, she never sent it to him, so even if he got it by some backhanded route she can’t hold him to any time limit.
I just found out that that's Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's e-mail address. Y'all need to hide out underground for a while.
(Adjusting tinfoil)
Vorizen.net ends up in Idaho; looks like somewhere around Mountain Home. Strange that she didn’t get a bounce due to no such addressee at that IP — but then the folks running MH Air Base likely don’t want to tip their hand.
(Told ya! Takes off tinfoil !! )
hahaha thank you!
just do a “whoit” search on the domain owner
Well everyone, thank you for your time, and sorry again for the vanity!
After 2 FReepers sending themselves test emails, and me sending test emails to another 2, we’ve concluded that vorizon.net just doesnt auto-forward OR kick-back. I’ve told my girlfriend. We both agree that regardless, the other lawyer needs to get a professional email address.
Can you imagine Johnny.Cochran@aol.com? lol, sorry yall
Thanks again, everyone!
jxxxxxx@Grommet:~$ whois www.vorizon.comAs far as the "Interwebs" are concerned, it doesn't exist.
Whois Server Version 2.0
Domain names in the .com and .net domains can now be registered with many different competing registrars. Go to http://www.internic.net for detailed information.
No match for "WWW.VORIZON.COM". >>> Last update of whois database: Fri, 21 Nov 2008 22:09:24 UTC
She should send an email to the original intended email, and ask if they got it; supplying her email address...and if they don’t reply. she should have a copy in her “sent mail”, to be used for resend.
The proper response to that is "no, please make that 'willing to sue.'"
What do you expect from a one arm dyslexic posting from his cell phone while dunk in a bar again?
