What’s going to be interesting is if the USSC justices rule that the case does not have legs... and if at some point in the future it becomes known that Obama was not eligible, after all, to become President.
At that point I believe there would be an awful lot of angry, pissed off people (about half the country)...and they’ll be just as pissed off at the justices that ruled Obama into office ANYway as they are at Obama himself.
Is it not Orwellian that the MSM, the internet browser pages and the print media are abuzz with the earth-shattering news that Dick Cheney was indicted by some clown in some remote locality and yet, 15+ cases challenging the Constitutional eligibility of the “president-elect,” including two applications for cert that are currently pending at the United States Supreme Court go completely ignored by the media?? The various programming at Fox News etc. is filled with court updates on every last piece of trash tabloid crap. And yet, no one takes thirty seconds to mention that cases have been filed in numerous jurisdictions and federal courts on the “natural born citizen” issue. It’s profoundly depressing.

The SCOTUS is probably the last firewall to stop tyranny by civil means. Their job is to interpret the Constitution and to protect it.
I think O is bought and paid for by ????. I think McCain was their plan B. I know the Justices have to just follow the Constitution but I hope in the back of their minds they also see what is going on in the background.

A friend of mine, now a retired colonel, was born in a British Army facility to a U.S. Military father and mother stationed under orders at that facility. There was never a question about his being a native born citizen. The difference between McCain and BO is that he was born in another country to parents who were American born and who were there under government (military) orders.
Probably not since Biden would only be the VP elect by way of a fraudulent and illegal candidacy.

SCOTUS does NOT have to redefine anything. It is right there in the Constitution and Leo spells it out for them.
The average person who voted for Obama like it is some American Idol person may not get it. SCOTUS will have to decide if The Consitution means anything anymore. If they decide that is does not mean anything then we have mob rule and tyranny.
By watching the reaction of some FR people posting nonssense, inane vanities and being fanboys and girls for chicken conservative talk show hosts - I am losing confidence that people care about The Republic.
Not to be glib but I do not think the Constitution deals with abortion. My guess is the Framers never thought people would do something like that.
The Framers spent a LOT of time and effort on the eligibility of Presidential candidates. It was a very big deal to them.
If Obama takes office and was forced out than it would be Biden. If Obama is decided to be inelgible before the elctors vote then the electors supposedly can vote for anyone and supposedly the Dem electors do not lose their votes and they could go to Hillary.
Leo tried to get his case decided before the vote by NJ courts and a clerk at SCOTUS jerked him around.

It says nothing about whether the retired colonel is a natural born citizen.
Since the term natural born citizen lacks a clear legal definition, native born and natural born may or may not be the same for the purposes of holding the Office of the President.
In a just world children born of Americans on American government business would be eligible to hold the Office of the President regardless of any accident of birth outside the physical boundaries of the country.
This isn't a world ruled by justice, it's barely a world ruled by law.

Another thing that could come out of this;; There are many city, county, state, and federal positions that require an oath to support and uphold the constitution. Will these people be asked to re-affirm their loyalty or step down?
