.....This should be interesting.

EUREKA, CA Gays, lesbians, and straight allies plan to call in gay (not sick) to work and school on December 10, 2008 to protest passage of anti-gay constitutional amendments in Arizona, Florida, and California. Instead of showing up for work or school, protesters plan to volunteer for local gay and civil rights organizations across the country.
Every day since Election Day, thousands have protested up and down streets in cities across California, including Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco and Sacramento. A national, grassroots coalition of LGBT activists have followed in their footsteps. The grassroots organization, Join the Impact, held its first nationwide day of protest on November 15th. In Humboldt County an estimated 700 people joined together at the Courthouse with the estimated 1,000,000 people across the country and world. Now gay citizens and their allies are teaming up to show America and the world how we can love.
On December 10, 2008 the gay community will take a historic stance against hatred by donating their time to a variety of different causes in order to raise public awareness of the need for LGBT equality in marriage and in other civil rights.
Imagine life without your favorite teacher, your childs pediatrician, your daily bus driver, your employee, much of the U.S. forces, your best friend, your neighbor, your mother, father, sister, brother or your child. A Day Without a Gay will show how many LGBT and straight allies there are that are necessary for todays economy, societal support and the functioning of the world on a daily basis. We do not want to work for or be a part of an institution, a society or a world that discriminates against who we are. said A Day Without A Gay Co-Chair Julia Boyd, a Child Development major at Humboldt State University.

Guess my wife will have to re-schedule her hair appointment...
Ok, this is just getting stupid.
Note to self: be sure to go to work on December 10.
If it doesn’t get the desired result they may have to expand it...to the “Year Without A Queer”.
Oh please ... YOU LOST, FUDGEPACKERS! Get over it!
O noz, 2% of the population won’t be showing up for work...Whatever shall we do?
What if liberal radicals staged a protest, and no one cared? Oh that's right....it happens every day.
"No Mo' Homo"
Decade
LOL! Just what I was thinking.
Agree or not one has to be impressed with their ability to organize protests and get the word out. Too bad the right could not have done that before Obama got elected. Or perhaps if they did the MSM would just ignore it.
thousands out of 300 million
LOL
deluded springs to mind here for them
At least I can go out now and not get served , asked a question, waited on by a homo.
and if they are outside of anywhere preaching their perverted lifestyle then I will let them know they are wrong on so many accounts
nothing normal about a man having sex with another man or a woman wearing a strap on pretending she is a man while having sex with another woman
nope nothing normal there\
I look forward to the day
just reread that article
minagein if your favorite bus driver, school teacher and then get this much of the US forces
LOL
they actually think most of our military are homo’s and will take the day off
dummies they really are, they live in their little warped mind making fools of themselves to the majority and they do not even see it
How about a Class Action Suit against the Main Stream Media for reporting that a “man” had a baby? If I put shoe polish on my face, I am not African-American.
here in north east FL no one ever knew about their little protests, even the media hasn;t really covered it.
of all the problems in this country and they think their perverted minds and sex is the biggest problem
ARF
these people actually are making me laugh with their immature tantrums.
what they think my state of FL will overturn the amendment , it was over 62% to their little 30plus %.
no chance so what on earth do they think they will achieve except piss off the more moderate people who are hearing and seeing them protest
A day without fashion designers, interior decorators, and musical theatre directors? The country will grind to a halt!
Then December 11 should be “Fire a Gay Day.”
LOL
no you would be classed as a racist
I don’t expect to see anything from them in my town anyway but I really would have a laugh winding them up
I’ll forward this to the office queer.
I’m sure everybody else in the office is looking forward to a day without that drama queen.
