I'm going to guess that some commentators on this thread didn't RTFA. Prof. Kalisch is doing interesting and important research, even if his current conclusions are not ultimately determined to be valid. Islam has fossilized to the point its chief spokesman is Obama Biden (sorry, I'm still recovering from the election)Osama Bin Laden-- Islam needs this kind of intellectual curiosity and questioning if Muslims are going to be fit to be a part of a civilized world.
