(VANITY) Techie-Freepers....I need your help
Does anyone out here have an Igoogle page? I wanted to add a Free republic gadget to my homepage so I don't have to go through drudge to get here. If there are any Techies out here...... can someone make one?
****NON TECHIES-******** a gadget is basically a link you add to your homepage,so you don't use the address bar. no typing...just click and go
Thanks

Can’t you just add the Freerepublic web page to your bookmarks or Favorites? That’s how I do mine!

I try to avoid using Google, but when you sign in for igoogle look for "make your own gadget" , click on it, and it will give you different possibilities for what you want to do.
Good luck!

Firefox makes a clean link and has a really simple way of taking advantage of RSS Feeds. It is the best browser with plenty of built in security and functionality.
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
Rss feeds give one the ability to see the latest posts thru a list that drops down from your browser without going to the site which JimRob has added to freerepublic.com

You should be very careful about which software and websites you use. Most of the “latest and greatest” technology is produced by heavily left-leaning “corporations”.
I try to use my computer as little as possible. These are nothing more than socialist organizations in capitalist clothing. Their sole purpose is to gather as much info on you as they can to use for their own advantage. Meanwhile, they are using the revenue you generate for them to fund leftist politics.

We non teckies just open an FR icon so it is there on the screen when one turns on the computer. All you do is click on it, and it takes you right to FR.
To: OL Hickory
Just make it your housepage.
