William Ayers has written a new afterword to his old book. He reveals that he and Obama were family friends. He also reveals some of his involvement in Obama's early political career. In summary, he proves what we already knew. Obama is a liar.
In a new afterword to his memoir, 1960s radical William Ayers writes that the campaign controversy over their relationship was an effort by Obama's political enemies to "deepen a dishonest narrative" about the candidate.
“We had served together on the board of a foundation, knew one another as neighbors and family friends, held an initial fund-raiser at my house, where I’d made a small donation to his earliest political campaign,” he writes.
You may remember how Obama described their relationship:
Obama said Ayers is "a guy who lives in my neighborhood" and not someone who has endorsed him or talked to him regularly.
"And the notion that somehow as a consequence of me knowing somebody who engaged in detestable acts 40 years ago when I was 8 years old, somehow reflects on me and my values, doesn't make much sense," Obama said.
Obama says he was just a guy in the neighborhood and did not endorse him. Ayers says they were friends and that he held fund-raisers in his house for Obama. One of them is lying. Who do you think the liar is?

Worse than that, quite a few people knew that everything the Republicans were saying was true. And yet, somehow, the Republicans are the bad guys in Ayer’s mind.
Well, what happens to most of those insiders who helped a charismatic mass-hypnotizing leader of a national socialist party to power? What does History say?
Your article fails to report which book by Ayers you are refering to.
So Obama lied about Ayers? What’s the big deal? He lied every time he opened his mouth, why should his lying about his friendship with Ayers be mentioned? (smirk)

Ayers also admitted he was guilty as hell for his crimes years ago. He definitely shouldn’t be anywhere but A) behind bars or B) well, you know.

I would agree, for sure. Of course they know precisely what they are doing — so did Hitler, and so did Stalin. They knew too. What really matters is what the people are going to do, to save their freedoms and their country.

Obama was a Red Diaper Baby. Does anyone really believe that when he moved to Chicago, Ayers and Dohrn came looking for him?
Of course not. Growing up Commie, the first thing these people learn to do is how to spot and hook up with other “fellow travelers” Obama went looking for Ayers, probably already knew him from his “mystery” years in NYC.

BTW, both books are excellent, well written, and frankly, must reads for Conservatives.

I don’t think so. Looks to me as though Ayers is one of Hussein’s “mentors” - string pullers. IMO Hussein couldn’t fight his way out of a wet paper bag without his backers/mentors/string pullers. He can’t think or speak on his feet. He’ll have to keep dealing with them behind the scenes (or not so behind the scenes) in order to keep from cracking. Look at all the names he’s picked so far - all old recycled Dem DC hands, like the Dem thrift store.

During the campaign, 60 Minutes, 20/30 (or whoever they are) don't track this guy down for an interview? That would be their cup of tea.
But now Ayres is going to do the “circuit” to peddle his book???????
I don't care if he claims to have a “dedication” to Barry or not. This is just wrong.
