Thompson, Steele, Gingrich...WOW! We are already going in a great direction!

I’ll be happy with any of these guys!

Great! I guess McCain is running again in 2012! I wish we had lots more Bob Doles!

Thanks for the post. Wonderful if true. With Newt and Fred in the mix (Mitt, keep your distance, I know it’s difficult for you) at least some things are looking up.

Thompson “mulls” to much for my taste, but I’d sure love to see him do it.

Now it can be told- The Thompson story
by Carl Cameron

http://cameron.blogs.foxnews.com/2008/01/22/now-it-can-be-told-the-thompson-story/

I reported first that he was eyeing a White House bid. At the time several insiders told me OFF THE RECORD that it was largely a trial ballon to guage his popularity and float his name as a possible vice presidential nominee. I was sworn to silence.

I’m with Fred, but I don’t want to give up Newt’s strategic skills, so if it’s Fred as Gen. Chair and Newt as chair, or in some other capacity where he’ll be planning our comeback, I’d be fine with that.

Fred is on the National Review cruise. Kathryn Lopez reports he says he doesn’t want to be Chairman

He’s too nice. The RNC needs someone who’s ruthless.

OMG, no! This is a joke? It's from the Onion, right?

After Fred's lackluster attempt at the nomination, he shouldn't be seen in public unless he's playing the CryptKeeper on HBO.

Is this another attempt to make his best friend McCain relevant again?

He’s up to something and that’s why he isn’t back on Law & Order yet despite a storyline written to bring him back and waiting for him.

+1 for Michael Steele! Regarding Fred, um...his energy level was nill in the primary. Too much fumbling for words, also. I do like Newt if he focusses on tax and economic policy.
