There is already historical precedent that Israel will attack Iran during the U.S. Presidential transition. Israel attacked a target in Lebanon in December of 1988 - during the Reagan=Bush transition.

Neither Clinton will wind up in the Obama cabinet; furthermore, I don't think either one will *ever* be appointed to the Supreme Court by *any* present or future President. After Obama is bloodied by foreign events (not to mention his own foreign policy), he'll be vulnerable to a challenge in the 2012 primary.

The last thing that I would want to see if I were a despotic leader of a rouge nation would be the explosions caused by the smart bombs dropped by aircraft that I didn’t see coming. The next to last thing I would want to see is the Israeli Defense Force attempting the same thing. For all of the posturing of Israel’s enemies they know that their military is first rate and that they can count upon a good old fashioned ass kicking.

Bolton is probably exactly correct. The tragedy for us is that instead of a very astute observer and practitioner of the craft of diplomacy that is John Bolton, we will be saddled with a limp excuse for a Secretary of State such as John Kerry, he that was in Vietnam before he was against it. :(

So I say lets get it over with. Iran has been a thorn in the world’s side for over thirty years. Their people have been unable to overthrow the government. The mullahs and their henchmen are awaiting the 12th imam and care nothing for human life.

The gravity of the election of Obama will not be fully felt until it is too late to do something about it, unfortunately.
