Here is complete video of President-elect Barack Obama's first press conference held today, November 7, 2008, in Chicago. Obama had just met with a group of economic advisers to discuss the state of the U.S. Economy. In the conference, he passed on answering a question by CNN's Candy Crowley on whether he heard anything in his Intelligence Briefings that "gave him pause" about anything he said on the campaign trail. I notice he also did not call on anyone from Fox News for a question. . . . (Watch Video)

I just want to know when I gt my tax cut. Even if my wife and I add our pay, we come well short of $250K.

What’s with the creepy “Office of the President-Elect” placard on the podium, with the bizarre eagle emblem?

Didn't you get the memo? The new number is < $120k.

Sorry for the confusion.

Obviously, we need to work 24/7 to end the nightmare!

It’s not rocket science!

“We have just completed one of the longest election cycles in recorded history. Now is a good time to set politics aside for a while, and think practically about what will actually work to move the economy forward..”

Is he conceding that running around blaming tax cuts for the rich won’t ‘actually work’ in turning the economy around? That it was shameless political posturing?

That is the most whacked out, bizarre, hilarious sign. What a freak job.

Oh great a fascist with small man’s complex. Ugh. The next four are going to be even more of a challenge the horrendous one I anticipated. Strap yourselves in conservatives. Get ready to laugh and cry, sometimes, simultaneously.

Glad you posted the link. I wanted to do a rough count of the “uhs” and “ums” out of that babbling idiot. When off script, the guy makes President Bush sound like a genius.

My rough tally showed he said “uh” or “um” about 132 times during the roughly 12 ½ minutes of questions. I particularly enjoyed the double “uhs”. I suppose the teenagers may be dropping their three “likes” per sentence talk now that they see the Comrade Zero using “uhs”.

“We have just completed one of the longest election cycles in recorded history. Now is a good time to set politics aside for a while, and think practically about what will actually work to move the economy forward..”...translation - now that I'm going to be President it's time to stop all criticism, questioning, and second-guessing - there'll be no more anger or rancor, and certainly anything resembling Bush Derangement Syndrome, or as it would now be called Obama Derangement Syndrome, will be dealt with harshly - we know who you are and we have our methods.....

uh... uh... uh...

He looked very nervous, naturally. But they’d be all over a Republican for being this nervous or hesitant. Be ready for a four year honeymoon.
