Regardless: Praise God!

In the wake of the presidential election, no doubt many Christians will be dispirited and upset. Do not be. While I think we should be dissappointed in the outcome, I know that God has an amazing plan for this world and that he was not surprised. I am not sure how God will make lemondade out of this lemon, but I know he will because I have read the Book and WE WIN!

Now at this time in our great history I want to encourage other Christians to PRAISE GOD! Do not sulk. Why would you? We are not defeated, we are VICTORIOUS! I would also encourage Christians to share your faith. I feel the presence of God moving in our land, let us go to people and tell them of the hope we have.

Continue to pray for this country. Pray that God's will be done! Pray that we will be given opportunities to witness and then let us be faithful enough to do it.

Psalm 71:14-15 puts it this way:

14 But as for me, I will always have hope; I will praise you more and more.

15 My mouth will tell of your righteousness, of your salvation all day long, though I know not its measure.

I’m not near as upset with Hussein Obama’s election as I was with Bill Clinton, because this time I put it in the hands of the Lord. If B. Hussein obama IS as bad as we all think, God is still in control of the situation. Besides, other people in other nations have had to endure persecution for centuries. A little bit here in the U.S. might wean us from Government solutions and look more to God.

God Bless America Again :

God bless America again
You see all the trouble that she's in
Wash her pretty face, dry her eyes and then
God bless America again

God, i sure do wish you'd bless America again
You know, the way you did back when it all began
You blessed her then, lord, but somehow we just took it for granted
And we never did ask again
So, just hold her hand, god, that's all

I agree, it is nothing more than part of God’s plan. He knew who would be president before He even created both McCain and Obama. Everything happens as God plans it, even if we disagree with the outcome or just plain don’t understand why.

Read Ezekiel chapter 8 to understand Why God chose Obama.
It may be an interesting insight into Biden’s own prophetic statements.

There is a time to fight, and a time to step back and let God do the fighting for us.

I believe it is time for us to step back and behold the Glory Of God. ALL WILL BE REVEALED!

It is also our duty, whether we like Obama or not, to pray for him and honor him so long as he does not attempt to suppress our freedom of religion and ability to preach the gospel to others.

“Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God...Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.” Romans 13: 1,5

God loves all people and invites them to come to Him; and follow Him; and receive rewards of life; not the least of which is life eternal with Him. In His Presence.

We are told the prince of this world is Satan This is apparent ...

what is the other description of the prince of the air ...IE Communications?

Ephesians 2:2
“ in which you (A)formerly walked according to the course of (B)this world, according to (C)the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in (D)the sons of disobedience.”

here is one ... there are others

We are called by God to occupy until His return. We need to remain strong in our faith and do what He has commanded until the day He comes to take us all home. This includes praying for our country and her leaders each and every day.

This is His command. Anyone who has a problem with that can take it up with God at a later date.

Unfortunately it usually works the other way. Once government gets hold on something ... it goes on forever; or the end of that government; usually by being taken over by outside entities.

Thanks for the encouragement. Wed. night at church almost every testimony included this: “Since this election (just the day before) I have had more opportunity to share the Lord then in the last few months!!”

People want to know how after a crushing defeat we can still smile, be optimistic and praise the Lord.

The result of this election was NOT God’s will, but He will work all things out for our good.

Consider the Old Testament. God didn’t simply say: Trust in me, and do nothing yourselves. Often he gave specific instructions to be followed in order to ensure His assistance. And often he allowed terrible punishment to be brought on the people of Israel when they consistently ignored His prophets and their warnings, and gave themselves up to sin and idolatry. The people completely lost their homeland to pagan conquerors. So don’t assume we can count on God to pull things out if we continue on our present path.
