Think outside the box for a moment...
Do you think there is a something else in play on electing Obama? After Obama won the nod from hillary, Librals, radicals, and everyone from the far left gravitated to the messiah. Did we republicans sacrifice one (McCain) to ensure a longer future? Think about this...
The US is broken, the world is broken, now the stock market has dropped 10% in 2 days since the election, Taxes are going to be raised on the middle clas making us struggle even more. Big corporations and the rich are going to be taxed causing them to ousourse and downsize. 401K plans will be seized to fix social security..and the list goes on and on.
Do you think all this can be fixed in 4 short years...NO! Can they blame it on George BUSH in 2012? -NO he's gone! In 2012, I see a lot of pissed off people across the board and a republican/conservative revolution the likes of which will be bigger than the REAGAN REVOLUTION.
Politics is a chess match and I think the republican elite sacrificed a pawn to win the game in 2012 and kill the hippie/left wing/radical left...once and for all
They can, and they will. Whether or not the electorate buys it is another story entirely.
If things don't get better by 2012, Obama will run against George W. Bush all over again.
One problem. It would require another Reagan.
I’m beginning to wonder the same thing - some of the things they did just don’t make any sense at all.
Grand conspiracies usually ignore simple truths. In this case, the simple truth is that liberals (and the American public) chose to elect a leader who has never been a leader, who offered a simple plan (change) without specifying what he’d change.
People are idiots.
“Taking a break from Free Republic”?? Hell, you just got here.
I will admit..I though journalistic integrity was dead.
But in a very short time the Freepers have shown me we are in great hands in getting the word out, even if the MSM turns a blind eye.
The information that comes in is beyond amazing. I am somewhat overwhelmed by the lenghs that the Freeper communitiy goes to get the facts. Woodword and Berstein
are wishing they had everyone of you back when journalism mattered. I will sit back and try to absorb and pass along
and convert those who deny. Thats why I am taking a break!
Well, things move very fast around here. You gotta keep the knowledge flowing, you know. I am completely and thoroughly addicted to this website and I’m not ashamed to admit it. I have found something new every day since day one on here. It’s hard to put it down.
Heard a good one tonight. Attended a program entitled Winning the War on Terror. Very liberal crowd. Speaker was a conservative and touched on a nuclear Iran and the very real danger they could have a nuke in the next year. Someone dared to ask why Bush doesn’t deal with Iran before he leaves office. I couldn’t help but think it would be just one more thing they’d love to blame Bush for. They wouldn’t want their beloved Obama to have to deal with that one!
THAT'S what doesn't making sense wrt the MSM. For DECADES the media wh*res have tried to make exciting, scandalous stories out of thin air in an attempt to be the next W&B and expose the next Watergate. And here was a candidate with the juiciest background imaginable -- and they looked the other way.
Leftists or not, any one of BHO's shady stories would have made a reporter who broke it open a household name - like W&B.
I don’t know about you, but I can’t WAIT to say “It happened on Obama’s watch”.
