An Amazing Post Supporting Rush on Free Republic
January 28, 2004
Listen to Rush
( talk to Chris, and thank him for his moving essay)
Below you will find the text of an essay posted on FreeRepublic.com Tuesday night by a man named Chris Davis.
I signed off the computer last night in sheer boredom in the midst of the speechifying after the New Hampshire primary, and I went about the house doing other productive, fun things. When I got into work in the morning and fired up the computer, my brother sent me a note, along with seven or eight other people saying you will not believe this post on Free Republic about you. I went there and read it. I was rendered silent and speechless. It blew me away.
To have somebody take the time not just to write it, but to even think and feel that is overwhelming to me. At the end of Wednesdays program, Chris Davis called in and I thanked him personally by making him a member of Rush 24/7 and giving him a few items from the EIB Store.
Its just one of the nicest things that somebody I dont even know has ever said about me, Chris, and I cant thank you enough.
And to this:
Any thoughts on my vote, ping!
that was actually funny
least you weren’t blowed up (sic) in yer Pinto car son...
Wow, Chris- well done!!
Aha! Flattery will get you everywhere!
My only wish is that the folks who truly need to understand this post would read and understand it as satire instead of validation. Sigh.
Why not? Because Communism sucks and they have been fighting in the streets for it for 40+ years and the shackles of servitude to government would take twice as long to cast off.
The rest of the world is now tossing off socialism, we don’t need to make that mistake.
What’s wrong with oil, pharmaceuticals and Wal-Mart?
Does anyone understand these people? If anything, oil, pharmaceuticals and Wal-Mart have made many peoples lives more comfortable and happy.
One and only reason - if you don’t, then you will be dragged through the mud and therefore will not feel good about yourself.
Elvis Presley's "In The Ghetto" and Paul Shanklin's "In A Yugo" popped into my brain when I read that. Nice work once again.
I have faith in conservatism. I don’t have faith in many of my fellow Americans. Let us not forget that there is such a thing as domestic enemies to our Constitutional liberties.
We don’t know where he gets his clothes.
One reason for not voting for Obama is that he might be a Kenyan Muslim instead of a natural born American citizen. Why is it that this question is still unresolved at this late a date? Don’t the voters want to know who they’re voting for?
A French author described in his book Moi Thierry F., chômeur professionnel (I Thierry F., professional unemployed) how he has lived happily on public funds for 24 years by only ever working two years.
I get shivers just thinking about it.
Having had such a deprived and depraved childhood, I guess I should be on the dole. I don't know how I escaped it. I thank heaven for FDR, LBJ, JFK and WJC who made me what I am today.
Excuse me for a while while I go eat dinner......broiled lobster tail and Iranian caviar on the menu for me tonight.

What I really want to know... What was it like actually speaking with Rush?
Which high school? Ray, Carrol, King, Miller, Moody, West OSO, Four Bluff?
Thanks Chris. BTTT!
Well if you use the logic of raging left loons then if you vote for Obama you must be a racist against whites.
Sound logic...you HAVE to vote for McCain...
God help us what is happening to our country!
Great post. You shouldn’t have let the cat out of the bag so soon. It would have been great troll bait. Those of us who have been here a while know you write some great satire.
