The problem with the question is Zer0 Marxist is that it’s behind the times. There are very few self admitted Marxists in this country or in this world and they’re usually confined to Western universities. I suspect that even Mr Ayers isn’t a “Marxist”. These revolutionaries have weaseled out of such labels as “Marxist”, “Socialist”, “Communist”. They’re none of that, they are “Progressive”, and who is against progress, just as who is against “gaiety” or against “choice”. The Left has seized the language and language is how you win cultural and political battles. The Right is as usual clueless.
The Bush administration instituted a fairly broad income tax reduction. Congress plans to not renew that tax cut. (BTW, the Democrats took control of congress in 2006.)
Lowering taxes for the wealthy is just spreading the wealth up instead of the other way around.
It is the upper middle class and "wealthy" who make up the majority of business owners in this country. Their financial success usually translates into more jobs.
