If you are wondering what would be one of the top initiatives of a Barack Obama presidency, here is something that is virtually written in stone. Obama would do away with the "Don't ask, don't tell" presidential edict initially put into place by Bill Clinton during his first term. Obama's ultimate goal would be to change the Uniform Code of Military Justice (USMJ) to accommodate homosexuals. In plain language, the United States Armed Forces would have to allow homosexuals to openly serve in our nation's military.
Early on in Hillary Clinton's primary fight against Obama, she said this issue would be of primary concern in a Clinton administration. Bill Clinton's attempt to have homosexuals openly serve in the military ...

“Serve”? Obama will promote openly Lesbian officers to Top Pentagon Brass.
I hate to break it to everyone, but gays already serve in the military, and almost everyone knows who they are, especially the lesbians. And no one really cares what people do in private.
That said, I think it is high time we stop using the military for social experimentation.
sigh...I’m so glad I’m retired!
They’ve always been in the military, and most of us knew who they were. What it will do now is establish rights for their partners (housing, medical care, etc.) and a host of other societal issues that come from open homosexuality. Sodom and Gomorrah AFB here we come!
Obama won’t wait to start showing his contempt for the Military.
What’s next, a Veteran’s Day parade with troops in unbuttoned uniforms mincing and dancing down the street?
The current policy works for everyone other than homosexual activists and anti-homosexual zealots.
If you are a homosexual who wants to serve your country, you can do so as long as you remain discrete while serving in the military. The era of military officials looking to out gay servicemen has quietly ended. Commanding officers might well know or suspect that one of their troops is gay, but they will generally ignore this unless the person is incompetent or engages in behavior that can’t be ignored.
Re-opening this issue will do nothing but make a lot of people angry. The current policy works and should be left as-is.
Most important issue to address:
Terrorism. Nope.
Spread of nuclear weapons. Wrong again.
The economy. Maybe later.
The answer is (drum roll please).
Gays in the military!
I know I’ll take some heat for this, but I’m grateful the guy is honest about his position. I was so mad when Bill Clinton in his first week of office started spouting off about this issue because he never peeped a single word about it during the campaign. If he had, he’d have lost votes — plain and simple.
The left’s time-honored tradition of wanting to destroy our military (formalized by Pat Schroeder) continues apace.
Gen. Powell resigned from Joint Chiefs early because of slick willie’s don’t ask don’t tell.
I am sure this is simply another reason why he chose to endorse O. Right?????
No, the top agenda item is calling ACORN in to the Oval Orafiss to help him plan the next round of business [as per his YouTube statements, etc.]
After that, sure, homos can be accommodated.
