An Obama Supporter went berserk and beat a Woman rallying For McCain in NY City. Will the MSM pick up on this? Doubtful.

Ladies need to have a man with them if they are going to be vocal in their support for McCain. This was liberal man beating a Conservative woman with a stick( how Muslim of him). Bring your husband or some other man willing to take someone like that down. My guess is the mere site of a man will scare these tough guys away. The fear of getting your ass kicked does wonders for peoples attitude.

I had a guy in a truck, right on my rear bumper last night giving me the "middle finger salute" for my NOBAMA and SARAH bumper stickers. He passed me and tried to run me off the road. Unfortunately, the cop 4 cars back witnessed the whole thing. LOL

I think it comes from the fact that there are no social boundaries on hatred of the Right. When we grow up (or at least back when I was a kid), our institutions, including the media, enforce a social code—you have to respect everyone, you can't get violent because someone says something you disagree with. That is gone. The MSM, in effect, is signaling that its OK to hate those evil conservatives. It really is the process by which a society starts to persecute a minority. The same thing happened, albeit on a much more proactive scale, in Nazi Germany or Stalinist Russia. It was OK to hate the Jews or the capitalists. If we end up in a police state, with Brownshirt thugs roaming the streets attacking the opposition, it will be brought about from the PC, Socialist Left. / This bears repeating for this is our future. Leftists are dangerous.

I too have had similar experiences with people I work with. They are having a visceral response to the election instead of a civil response. I know some here are wondering if it is or if there is some sort of techniques being used beyond the typical forms of propaganda. I am no expert in that area, but something is wrong, very wrong. At least your friend realizes it, many of mine are what I now recognize as goners. It is an amazing phenomenon as far as I can tell.

I wonder what the Obama campaign is telling their supporters to get them so angry? This is baffling. Some good points were made about how the conservatives have been demonized for years by many of our institutions, but still, I wonder what else is at work that we don’t know about? Obviously, Obama and his people are presenting one face in front of the cameras and a very different face when the cameras aren’t rolling. Obama is very different from the public image he presents, that’s part of the explanation too. Whatever it is, it’s inciteful. And his core supporters are picking up on it.

Where I live, the police will be busy watching from the sidelines, 50% being Obama supporters. We’re virtually on our own in this.
