Sarah Palin is GREAT, but is she enough to get conservatives to pull the lever for McCain ?

I happen to be a member of the "conservative wing" of the Republican party, and McCain was my LAST choice in the Primary. My Dream ticket during the Primary was Duncan Hunter/Sarah Palin..... I was thrilled to see McCain was able to convince Sarah Palin to join his ticket, however I am afraid it just might not be enough.. Sarah Palin is doing a great job energizing us conservatives, however it takes more than "vote for me becuase my opponent is worse" camaign to win an election.... few if any conservatives are excited about the "McCain" campaign which is reflected in the poll, however I am cautiously optimistic than come November, many of us will hold our nose and vote for McCain just because of Sarah Palin.

Perhaps you should start making one of your little lists of people who won’t vote for McCain. You can show it to us after the election.

Here's the important question:

What does the Obama campaign know?

Obama knows he can't possibly win this election without massive voter fraud in 20+ states.

We just need to get real, living, legitimate voters to show up and vote for McCain/Palin on November 4th.

McCain and/or the GOP need to run ads explaining, in some detail, Palin’s accomplishments in Alaska.

Sure, it'd be nice to see some of those ads, but honestly, if there's anyone out there who isn't already familiarized with Sarah's record, then they're simply dis-connected from current events.

I am more in RockinRight’s camp, and do not believe we have to worry about any REAL conservatives of any stripe voting 3rd party. Thanks to Joe, Obama outed himself quite nicely, and true conservatives know how hard it will be to put the Socialist genie back into the bottle.

My fear is from the generations of young people who do not fear Socialism at all. They have been “educated” like the frog in a pot, and do not see it as the life sucking monster that it is. They honestly do not seem to be able to conceive of the incredible change in their everyday lives that WILL occur if Obama is elected. They do not think THEIR freedom will be affected! Shakes head.

The useful idiots, the fraud, and the real deal Marxists, have put us in a very tough spot, but we are not without hope. The subversive radicals have done their job VERY well, but we are freedom loving Americans, who will not go down without a heck of a fight.

Sara Palin was enough to make me go from voting against Obama to voting for McCain.

I think the major factor will be voter fraud.

... we need ALL conservatives to step up the plate and vote for Sarah Palin for VP.

I think I've spoken to exactly one conservative person in the last month who isn't voting for Sarah. Even conservatism has its sheeples, and some are still standing on principle and voting third party. Not many, but there are a few.

Personally, I think we're all in for a surprise on Nov 5th, and it'll be a good one. I firmly believe that there's an anti-Obama vote out there that runs deep and wide across all demographics.

Obama is benefiting from an unprecedented level of MSM support. In this election the bias for the Socialist has gone so far over the top that even Democrats can't ignore it. Yet even with Pravda USA whoring for him night and day, and his campaign far outspending McCain's, Obama's poll numbers show him in a statistical tie.

It's Obama who hasn't "closed the deal" with Americans. Given all of the advantages he has, Obama should be far ahead of McCain by this point in the race. Try as they have, the MSM has not been able to contain all of the damaging facts about Obama from entering the public discourse.

Americans of every stripe have heard and seen Obama's dark side, and it scares them. So much so, that many who would have easily voted for him, are instead, going to vote Country First.

If Obama were simply a dependable liberal Democrat, he'd be walking away with this thing against the weakling, John McCain. But, Obama is a committed Marxist who has telegraphed his intentions to "change" America in fundamental ways. There are far more Americans who will reject that, than support it.

Anybody who calls himself a conservative and doesn’t vote for McCain/Palin deserves to be tarred and feathered if Obama wins. Plain and simple.

Look, if Sarah isn’t conservative enough for conservatives to vote for her—it’s like blacks saying that Obama is not black enough for them so I’m not going to vote for him. Give me a break!

Heck yes! She IS THE ONLY reason most conservatives are backing McCain.

No, it’s not the same question. Asking “is Palin enough to make me vote for McCain” is nowhere near all that is involved in asking—and honestly answering-—”is Obama enough to make me vote for McCain.”

And of course it’s not a “winning strategy” to you or anyone else who cannot figure out that not voting for McCain helps Obama win.

If you can’t figure out what “winning” means for the country, you can’t recognize a “winning” strategy.

See my tagline.

Anyone who has not figured out what’s best for the country by now, in terms of choosing between the only two politically viable options on Election Day, gets no respect from me.

This is the point I have been making for the last month. Without Sarah we would all be wallowing in despair. The fate of the nation lies in the hands of a hockey mom and journeyman plumber-hardly what the Founding Fathers envisioned.

No. And the ones on here who say “yes” aren’t the conservatives you’re talking about. Their votes were decided the day they were born.
