The “Voice Roll” Technique
A “voice roll” is a patterned, paced style used by hypnotists when inducing a trance. It is also used by many lawyers, several of whom are highly trained hypnotists, when they desire to entrench a point firmly in the minds of the jurors. A voice roll can sound as if the speaker were talking to the beat of a metronome or it may sound as though he were emphasizing every word in a monotonous, patterned style. I was intently watching Obama walk to the podium the other day. His body language portrays confidence, youth, and energy. He looks attractive till you really see the ugliness inside him. But if you don’t know him, he is very attractive if that makes any sense.

I have it bookmarked for reference.
Years ago I went to one of those stop-smoking hypnosis things and that “voice roll” is -exactly- the guy was doing.
Rather than focusing dutifully on all the “happy thoughts of non-smoking”, all I could do was feel freaked out that his voice was actually scaring me spitless.
It was just -creepy-.
I am very sensitive to anything even remotely ‘consciousness altering’ and I could feel myself fighting against every word he said.
Apparently, he was very “good” at what he did, at least in respect to getting inside your head.
At the beginning of the session, he started that droning and then, in what seemed hours later, he stopped and asked us all how long he’d been talking.
Everyone guessed 20-30 minutes had passed...in reality...it was only 4 minutes.
I did not care for the sense of “loss of time” at all.

Methinks pick-up artists over-analyze a process that’s fairly simple, and which most people do naturally. The whole process is as simple as, “Carry yourself with confidence, and get her attracted to you before you show you are atracted to her.”
You don’t need to reprogram her brain. Just watch someone who knows what he’s doing and copy it.
A retired shrink? Now you know it’s gonna be hard for us other freepers to resist telling you our problems... haha... j/k ;-)
