I wrote a poem--it is political (vanity)

KEYWORDS: imagine; liberal; poem
It's called imagine--inspired by the John Lennon song of the same name.
Imagine a world without terrorists
because they are dead or in chains.
The New York Times doesnt exist,
and sanity now reigns.
Imagine a world that believes in equality,
where anyone has a chance to succeed
and a dream and hard work is water
to nourish even the tiniest seed.
Imagine a world that is fair and just,
where drunkards do not roam free
after leaving a girl in a car
to drown in abject misery.
Imagine a world that is honest,
where presidents dont cheat on their wives,
and senators dont compare murderers
to patriots that sacrifice their lives.
Imagine a world without liberals,
Where life is a sacred right.
Where every soldier is honored,
And we are all immersed in Gods light.

In light of coming Obama Presidency, you better imagine yourself in a clink. Chance favors prepared minds.

Haha. I take it you didn’t like it. Fair enough.

The only way the world will ever be
like your poem is in your imagination.
My hope is in heaven.
Come quickly Jesus.
Until then, imagination may
be the only sanctuary we have.
Thank you for your poem and its sentiments.

A lifelong Beatle fan, I didn't like Lennon's Utopian manifesto much the first time around. Reworking it is futile; posting it is self-indulgent. Other than that, it's okay.

In light of coming Obama Presidency, you better imagine yourself in a clink. Goodness, has the elction already happened and the results are already in?
I hate it when I sleep through stuff like this and miss the whole thing.

For now it’s only a hope and a dream.
