Maybe this was how they spent some of the millions Obama and Ayers gave away for “educational purposes.

Funny, when my mom taught me English, she used actual literature...

Good grief. That makes a great case for home schooling. But, I imagine if Obama is elected, home schooling will be outlawed.
Conservatives should start pulling their kids out of public schools in record numbers.

This is propaganda pure and simple. They are constantly buying new textbooks that they don't need. Talk about waste! And taxpayers are footing much of the bill for it.
I bet half the kids can't even read and comprehend the article, but the pictures tell them all they need to know.

Outlawing homeschooling will be the “line in the sand” where many will take up arms. I’m hoping it either doesn’t come to that, or that some will have a line in the sand that comes before that occurs.
Because when they go to that extreme, they will be openly admitting that they intend to take our children for their use.

Will you let me know how they respond? I’d love to know how this is going to pan out.
Thanks!

I truly believe it will come to that. They can’t indoctrinate our kids if they don’t have access to them.
We need to fight harder, but I don’t know what else to do.

Every time I see something like this I’m so glad I don’t have children.
I have a friend who has a Freshman daughter in H.S. The teacher has given her bad grades for having conflicting views with him (straight A student since elementary and rest of her classes), talked about why marijuana should be legal, and shown a movie that talked about how bad Wal-Mart was. This is a “history” class.

I’m a life member of HSLDA,
and I donate to the ACLJ.
That’s where the fight starts.

Simply unacceptable.
I honestly didn’t understand the subversion of the educational system until the last few years, but it is now clear that:
1) it has already greatly damaged our nation
2) things must change quickly or our own children won’t fight what’s being done to America - they will help do it.

Two of the middle school texts used by my kids have credited Gorbechev with ending the cold war. McDougal Littel is the current text for my 7th grader - Thatcher, Churchill, and Reagan are left out of the 756 page textbook, which covers the physical aspects of each continent, along with events and history and present day "facts." Plenty of WWI, WWII and cold war coverage.
Did I mention that the front of the text has a list of "Multicultural Advisory Board" members for the book. Hmm.. Maybe that is why there is so little actual history in the book. Instead, I found the following people in the text (clearly very important people in the history of the world): Bob Marley, Sergey Diaghilev, Gabriel Mistral, Gabriel Barcia Marquez, Frida Kahlo, Octavio Paz, Mario Varga Llosa, Sergey Eisenstein, ..... ugh.

Does anyone know where to get a copy? We need to send one to Sarah and have her hold it up at every rally and show people what’s going on.

We also need to let the PUMAS know about this. Let’s start spreading it around.
