How could I not ping you on this subject? Perhaps you’d be so kind as to fire up that Catholic ping list of yours?

FLIP THE TICKET.
If we lose in '08, we will rebound in 2010 because it will be such an unmitigated disaster. 2010 is key because of the redistricting that goes on every ten years. There will be a lot more D senators up for re-election than R's. Palin will be the nominee in 2012.

I logged on the Tribune Democrat the other day, just for fun. Most comments were pro-O. Johnstown is one of those culturally Democrat places. Tons of Catholics seemingly unable to pry themselves away from the death party.

Tons of Catholics seemingly unable to pry themselves away from the death party. Nothing makes me sadder, or madder, than those type of Christians, Catholics most especially, you mention. They need prayers, that's for sure.
Here's a hope and a prayer that Sarah's speech has an impact and softens their hardened hearts.

If we lose in ‘08, what makes you think there’ll be elections in 2010? The way Obama’s minions are trying to stifle free speech, they’ll get much worse when they have actual power.

That was an awesome speech. If McCain can articulate pro life position like Sarah, this election would be a landslide for them.

Dietrich Bonhoeffer:
In a Christian community, everything depends upon whether each individual is an indispensable link in a chain.
Only when even the smallest link is securely interlocked is the chain unbreakable.
A community which allows unemployed members to exist within it will perish because of them. It will be well, therefore, if every member receives a definite task to perform for the community, that he may know in hours of doubt that he, too, is not useless and unusable.
Every Christian community must realize that not only do the weak need the strong, but also that the strong cannot exist without the weak. The elimination of the weak is the death of the fellowship.
Emphasis mine.

She's one of the most effective and powerful witnesses to the pro-life movement in decades. Particularly because she lives it so fully in all aspects of her life; and also because she is loving and firm but never strident she can reach out to moderate pro-choicers who might otherwise tune-out other pro-life voices.

If there is a way to ‘edit out’ the ‘life segment’ of this speech on its own; it should then be spread far and wide.

LOL. Just noticed my misspelling of Palin in "Paling Campaign Speech in Johnstown, PA" link atop the main post.
Can you please fix that? If not, no biggie. Thanks

If there is a way to edit out the life segment of this speech on its own; it should then be spread far and wide. Could not agree more. Wish I was equipped to do that at this moment. I've been trolling YouTube and other sites in the hopes of finding such a clip. Seems likely that someone will do just as you suggest. You're right, it definitely needs to be seen.
