The very first gaffe Joe Biden made after being picked for the Veep spot (the glue on the envelope was still wet) was referring to Obama as "Barack America."

Problem is, Biden misspoke. And even if he meant it, he was badly mistaken. There is no politician in the country further from most people's definition of a true American than Barack Obama.

Sarah Palin, on the other hand, is the very essence of American character, grit, style, and grace. And it shone through like a supernova last night. There has been no politician in modern times, if ever, (including, on this point, Ronaldus Magnus), who has so embodied the anti-politician. She is a classic citizen-candidate, the ultimate outsider, without the cynical baggage of a life spent in Washington. George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Ben Franklin would recognize her as a triumph of their Democratic ideals.

She crushed Biden last night. Nobody will remember Joe Biden 20 years from now. Nobody will ever forget Sarah Palin, they just don't realize it yet. Sarah Palin will be the first woman President of the United States. Children born decades from now will see her picture on our currency. There will be statues, bridges, and airports named in her honor. She will permeate the history books as a leader who opened a new and vibrant chapter in American history.

I realize full well, that I sound like Chris Matthews when he speaks about Barack Obama. The difference is that Sarah Palin loves America, her values, and traditions. She is optimistic and forward looking. Barack Obama likes terrorists, felons, and racists. He trashes the country and wants to remake it into something unrecognizable to any generation of Americans that has gone before.

Sarah Palin continues to shake the Democratic leftist-liberal house to its foundation.

The debate continued to exemplify this, because despite their predictions and their desire to see her fail, she exemplifies the absolute refutation of all the tired old liberal mantras and victimology that they malignantly use to mentally, pshycologically, and financially enslave whole classes of people.

From women's rights, to family values, to gun rights, to abortion, to energy policy, to taxation, to envrionmentalism, and on and on...she is a wrecking ball to the leftist, liberal, socialist house.

Not to quibble, I know it has entered the lexicon as practically indistinguishable from a Republic. But the anachronism of seeing “Democratic ideals” next to those men's names made me wince. Democracy was a dirty word to our founders, because at its heart Democracy is the tyranny of the majority.

I wouldn't say it's delusional at all. Win or lose, Sarah Palin has made a dramatic entrance onto the national stage. I think she's here to stay, whether it's this election or the next one. A new (and desperately needed) generation of real conservatives is beginning to stand up. Sarah is one. Jindal is another. I think it is cause to be very, very optimistic.

I do sense a certain destiny for Sarah Palin. Hopefully it begins this election. But even if it's the next one, I'm hopeful for the future of conservatism.

I tell you, as a family man, that photo of her holding (Trig?) is almost overwhelming when you think of her heart, knowing about his condition and boldly without hesitation nurturing and giving birth to him.

That baby boy is loved by the part of this nation that stands for what AMERICA is!

She has set this country on its ear, it’ll just take some time for all that to sink in and be realized. God bless you Sarah, you and your family, may He protect and shield you from the firey darts, smears and lies hurled at you and your family.

Their decision to have that baby, to count it forthrightly as a blessing from God, and to love him so obviously and clearly, has set the left and their culture of death on its ear...as well it should be.

Love and life, trumps selfishness and death every time.

Most of the hate for Sarah, the unbridled, unabashed anger and hate directed at her comes, I believe, from a deep set guilt in the hearts of the people who espouse the culture of death and are confronted by the obvious love, joy, and happiness that comes from Sarah rejecting it.

God bless Sarah and Todd and their entire family indeed...bless and protect them, hold them in the cusp of Your Hand dear God.
