Fix is in. How is Palin going to explain going for the bailout?
President Bush's FEC asppointments are intentionally blocked in the Senate... until after the election!
Thus the FEC is lacking a quorum with which to act upon anything!
Because the FEC only does what it has done for the past 35 years that it has been with us: Nothing.
Bush's Fault (tm)
No scandal here. Move along...
Obama is our anointed savior, and everyone seems to know it but us peons. Still, we will do our part by bashing McCain, and assuring his godness a win. It’s the least we can do. ...A god can do no human wrong. Obama need not prove he is a US citizen, or prove that any of his past is what he says it is, or prove that his incredible accumulation of fabulous wealth is anything other than divine revelation of his greatness. A new age is upon us. This is the dawning of the age of Obama.
Cause he’s a RAT?
It’s the same reason
Gwin Ifill is moderating the vice presidential debate.
Uh oh - this guy better be careful or the Obama Truth Squad will see him behind bars!
FEC has asked DOJ to get involved and they have not heard back. Bush’s DOJ is no better then Clintons IMHO.
For those on this thread that want to keep moaning about the bailout, put a lid on it. You have two choices to suck it up and vote for McCain/Palin or to whine and get Obama/Biden at which time the buyout is going to look like pennies to what we see going out of your pockets with Obama/Biden, two of the biggest liberals in the Senate.
McCain had no choice but to vote for it — he was already getting slammed and a vote NO would not have brought him any votes and most people whining now were either not going to vote for him because _______, are 3rd party types, don’t like any of the candidates that could get elected, and/or are trolls trying to stir things up. That’s the way I see it.
I don’t like the bailout, but it is not a make or break issue with me because I see a bigger picture and that is the tax and spend Obama especially in foreign countries. Don’t want to hear any of the we are going to teach the GOP a lesson again. We got the message when the House/Senate flipped to Dem control and caused this mess.
Want to get mad at someone? How about Paulson, Bernacke, along with Cox for allowing it to get this far or better yet how about the people that caused it starting with Carter, then Dodd and Franks. Greed took over and we are left holding the bag. Anyone who bought a home that couldn’t afford it was stupid. Selling paper to China was stupid. A lot of stupid things have happened and now some of you want to blame the one man that has been yelling about the problem for years? Give me a break!
Want to do something constructive, get out and work for a candidate for a change instead of sitting behind a computer whining.
My more then two cents!

The US has ceased being a nation of laws and has become a nation of privilege and graft. The government will gladly put someone in jail for many years for having a few grams of cocaine, but if you steal $50 million from employee pension funds, completely ignore campaign finance laws, threaten people with prosecution for speaking their minds against the powerful, and generally cook the books in order to get huge bonuses you get off scot free.
Rules and laws don’t apply to the powerful and the Republicans don’t have the guts to do the right thing. Probably because when you scratch off the filth the ‘Rats have stained everything with, you’ll find Republicans right in there with them.
