Bump
Which is why Obama was so easily able to broker unanimous acceptance of bail-out legislation last night at the White House meeting.
Good catch, Roger.
Fake but accurate!
Even in an altered transcript he can't speak without a prompter.
Is CBS registered as a 527???
2008, the year journalism died, worldwide.
Why would they do that?
Isn't that like --- fraud?
More to the point, does that not constitute donation of network time and resources to a specific political candidate?
How much is that worth --- in dollars?
What an awesome display of the power of the MSM. In a single bound, they are capable of causing an interviewee to make statements that never actually came out of his mouth at the time of the interview.
I viewed the interview as it was broadcast, and I concur with you that Obama actually said what you show him saying. He did not say what CBS now shows him saying.
60 Minutes has a reputation to maintain. They are the news magazine of choice for Dimocrat candidates and nominees who are in need of having their campaigns saved. They could do nothing less than what they’ve done.
Maybe they got some “help” from the Obama campaign. After all SNL got some “Help” from Al Franken.
According to sources, ZerObama's characterization of himself contradicted what happened in the White House when he stood up before the Bail Out Committee. He banged on the table and condemned the Republican's plan. The meeting degenerated into a partisan shouting match. ZerObama lost control of the meeting. He was a zero.
Wait a minute, Rodger. I just went to the 60 Minutes website and pulled up the transcript. According to what I see there right now, they haven’t changed it from what it really was. Here’s the URL:
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/09/21/60minutes/main4463342_page3.shtml
What the story, Rodger?
I have this 60 minutes taped and will take a look at it.
Very interesting. CBS is JUST the worst!
KROFT: But what is there specifically about you? You mentioned disposition
obama :” uhh, yeah ... uhm .... disposition ... uhh .... datposition .... uhhhm .. it depends ... ummmm ... you know ... uhhh ... who’s .... uhmmm ...... in the room .... uhhhh ..... you know .... uhhh ..... present in the ..... uhhhh room ....at the uhhhhh .... time.”
Obama is an ideologue, plain and simple. He is the most liberal Senator around. He is much more likely to view public policy through some puerile notion of doctrinal purity than McCain and Palin. McCain and Palin are the true problem solvers. I can’t imagine Obama coming out for any public policy position before its passing muster with special interests like, say, teacher’s unions or the trial lawyers association. He’s not about nonpartisanship, period!
