Can you think of how funny it would be if the October surprise is Obama getting into trouble because of flowers? It sort of fits libs.
Here are some tidbits from the story:
A $100,000 state grant for a botanic garden in Englewood that then-state Sen. Barack Obama awarded in 2001 to a group headed by a onetime campaign volunteer is now under investigation by the Illinois attorney general amid new questions, prompted by Chicago Sun-Times reports, about whether the money might have been misspent.

Oh boy, someone woes the people and explanation ...
Does Obama actually do anything besides talk?
probably refunneled to Obama somehow, like most of his campaign contributions.
That park got a $100,000 gazebo.
Prolly went to ACORN.
Most definitely. He’s an expert on spending other people’s money for his own personal benefit and that of his cohorts.
Flower Children for Obama, man!
$5000 gazebo $95,000 political graft.
Thats not the garden he knew. :-)
Attorney General Lisa Madigan -- a Democrat who is supporting Obama's presidential bid -- is investigating "whether this charitable organization properly used its charitable assets, including the state funds it received," Cara Smith, Madigan's deputy chief of staff, said Wednesday.
Oh well.
This is exactly what “community organizations” do. They set up shop, get taxpayer money for development, cleanup, jobs, whatever...then nothing gets done and the organizers walk away with 90% of the cash. If the Republican nominee were ever part of a community organization, I would have a very difficult time voting for him or her; they are the foot soldiers of the communist insurgency.
He had a dream...rofl
I meant vision of a different garden.
In other news, Obambi took a serious HEAT ROUND up the ghazoo today....
“Hes an expert on spending other peoples money”
Per Sarah Palin, it’s an OPM addiction - Other People’s Money.
I’d like to be under the sea
In an octopus’ garden in the shade
He’d let us in, knows where we’ve been
In his octopus’ garden in the shade
I’d ask my friends to come and see
An octopus’ garden with me
I’d like to be under the sea
In an octopus’ garden in the shade.
We would be warm below the storm
In our little hideaway beneath the waves
Resting our head on the sea bed
In an octopus’ garden near a cave
We would sing and dance around
because we know we can’t be found
I’d like to be under the sea
In an octopus’ garden in the shade
We would shout and swim about
The coral that lies beneath the waves
(Lies beneath the ocean waves)
Oh what joy for every girl and boy
Knowing they’re happy and they’re safe
(Happy and they’re safe)
We would be so happy you and me
No one there to tell us what to do
I’d like to be under the sea
In an octopus’ garden with you.
I’m sure he isn’t on any Freeper’s ipod, but Pete Seeger’s “Where Have All the Flowers Gone?” would seem to be the perfect theme song for this latest Obama scandal.
McCain should use the song in an ad about Flowergate. Seeger would certainly object and another communist coming out for 0bama could only help McCain.
The Illinois Attorney General is Lisa Madigan...a Democrat supporting Obama is “investigating” - she was a Chicago Democratic voting machine beneficiary...she’s young, was inexperienced when electd, she’s the daughter of the very powerful Illinois Speaker of the House Michael Madigan(D)...
You know Chicago is called the windy city because of its political blowhards...Obama is a product of the machine as well. Mayor Guiliani asked “What corruption in Illinois did Obama ever expose?” during the GOP convention when he complimented Palin for taking on the establishment.
I guess that whole $110 million lost under Obama/Ayers is just going to go away too. Keep it alive!
