John McCain wants to postpone Fridays debate in order to go back to Washington and act on legislation to fix economic conditions in the U.S.

McCain puts country first. Obama puts Obama first.
Obama: ‘Go back to the Senate and work? I don’t know how to do anything other and campaign’
McCain just jammed Obama between a rock and a hard place.
a) If Obama wants to continue his campaign it will make Obama look like the “me, me, me” that he is.
b) If Obama accepts McCain’s proposal to stop the campiagns and the debate to take care of the mess, it will look like Obama is taking advice from McCain and that McCain is showing leadership.
It’s a win-win for McCain.
Obama suspend his self-satisfying hero worship journey?
“Obama: Go back to the Senate and work? I dont know how to do anything other and campaign”
Besides, he probably has forgotten how to get to the Capitol, he’s been there so few times.
This should be rich. Now Obama is forced to debate his ideas on the senate floor. And all the other democrat bloviaters will have to give him floor time.
Obama: Go back to the Senate and work? I dont know how to do anything other than campaign
Based on Barry’s response to McCain he wants to neither fix the economy or debate. But we knew that before now anyway.
Let Newt stand in for McCain. That would be rich!!
no tele-prompter, no prepared speeches, uh,,,uh,,,,,,uh,,,,,,
damned if he does, damned if he doesn’t
Come on, we all know that when it is time to vote all Obama has to do is press the button that says “Present”—how much work could that be?
I’m sure his staff will give him a nice speech to make him look presidential.
That would be fun! I bet Newt would pay to stand up there and debate Barry.
People forget that Sen. McCain graduated from Annapolis and learned strategy and tactics from his Admiral father and Admiral grandfather. He also has some smart cookies running his campaign.
His latest tactical move to suspend his campaign to focus on solving the economy in the Senate has Obama on his heels. McCain can take the high road, while Obama searches for a way to exploit the situation.
I don’t think Obama can stop! He doesn’t have enough moeny to stop fund raising!

Also back in May-June:
Between the Obama staff and the Democratic Party staff there will be several thousand” paid operatives on the ground deployed across the country, deputy campaign manager Steve Hildebrand said. “I don’t want to get too specific; it gives away strategy.”
Reports filed with the Federal Election Commission show that in May the Obama campaign had a payroll of about 900, not counting nearly 500 part-time workers who were paid stipends.
As of May 31, that was nearly three times the size of McCain’s staff, and has expanded

If BO still wants to hold the debate, McCain should appoint Sarah as his substitute. That would be a sight to behold... Mr. um..er..uh..uh on the stage next to Palin.
what a devilishly delish plan you have concocted......LOL
Plus, time is money for BHO. Any time away from his compaign will cost him a lot of money. BHO has to panhandle money from rich guys. B Hussein Obama, it won’t take long to vote “Present”.
