with breeding should be able to supply all world needs assuming exponential demand for 500 years. The only way to solve the problem is to be able to produce fuel while it is consumed.
All other sources of energy are finite and all assume usage based on current data not assuming demand increase. Coal will only last 50 to 60 years with reliable estimations for demand.
