Sadly the thought that he would be pandering to the illegal irish in the country was my first thought when I heard that he was going to speak to an Irish American group.
He never fails to disappoint.

I don’t think McCain’s going to get in anyway. He may have the majority of votes in November, but the outcome won’t reflect that. I have a feeling that the Dems won’t let this one slip away—the cheating will be massive.

When I lived came here 37 years ago, and lived in NY, there were IRA who had come here as visitors and then just stayed...
They were collecting money for arms etc to fight the English...
I knew a couple of the girls quite well...
Nutsy but nice, and sincere in their “mission”

I watched it this morning on FOX. Reminded me why I was dead set against him before Sarah. Back to holding my nose.

We are in the fight for our lives this election. We need to stick solidly behind McCain for the next 6 weeks. We can critisize to our hearts content after November 4th. We don’t need to turn even one voter away from McCain right now.

If he’s still presenting/pandering with amnesty while Sarah’s already on board, I’m not sure what difference you (and others here ‘holding their noses) think she will make once he’s been elected. To my knowledge she has not been asked nor has she offered her position on what to do with the millions already here and I think that is no coincidence.

No point complaining then. He won't listen - he'll have gotten what he wanted from us. We are between a rock and a hard place.

Excuses for supporting McCain don’t set well with the anti-amnesty, anti-illegal immigration crowd. How soon so many have forgotten S2611. I, and many others, worked night and day to defeat it and I won’t give a vote of confidence to ANYONE willing to throw away this country’s sovereignty and security. If we elect him POTUS, we haven’t got a leg to stand on after November 4th and I want no part of it.

Well, I never thougth she'd make any difference, other than setting her up for '12. She will have to agree with him on every issue so they are a united front - so either she will make him more conservative or he will liberalize her. Since he's at the top of the ticket, I figured it would have to be the latter. Therefore, diminishing her chances in '12. Besides, she did absolutely nothing about Alaska being a sanctuary state and providing driver's licenses to illegals. I'm hoping it's only because she didn't have the time to deal with it - but it could be because she, like McAmnesty, loves illegals more than tax-paying, honest citizens.
I want to see what both of them have to say during the debates.

No matter who wins we lose and have a liberal president. With McCain we only lose a little bit. With Obama we lose in a blowout. Either way we won’t have the president we need in these important times.

Does that mean you’ll be right there with us bucking McCain when he starts his ‘legalization’ talk if he wins?
