Shocking Poll: Jews Defecting to McCain in Droves
A shocking new poll shows that Jewish voters in New York prefer McCain over Obama by a margin of 54-32 percent. That is even more remarkable because the last poll showed that New York Jews preferred Obama over McCain by a margin of 55-42 percent. That is a 35-point reversal!

Obama just announced his favorite song - Bei mir Bist du Schoen.
I’m not saying its factually based, I’m just saying that was the world view. Remember, too, that Engle (and Marx?) were Jews, and that their views were in accord with conventional Jewish culture at the time.
Cultures don’t change quickly, but when they do, they also don’t change back quickly. This could be a serious if not fatal cultural shift for the leftist donks...
Considering all the Dems who have been attacking McCain’s age, gray-haired Larry King was the most pathetic.
Along among 23 nations outside the U.S. only Israel supports McCain and that by 16 points in the last poll which was before the v-p picks.
In an on-line poll last week among English-speakers in the Jerusalem Post McCain got 75 per cent of the vote.
This may sound exaggerated and maybe it was, but Bush had a 70 per cent approval rating in a certified poll in 2004 which included Arabs who were almost all for Kerry.
What tips the scales here is the Iran threat. We are going to have to deal with this sooner or later no matter who is in the White House, but as least we know that McCain is with us and we don’t know where Obama stands, particularly after he flip flopped on Jerusalem after his AIPAC speech. Now we have Hillary running away from an anti-Ahmadinejad rally which brings back memories of her gushing embrace of Arafat’s wife in Gaza in 1998, telling her she supports his husband’s cause (which was killing as many Jews as possible) and this caused revulsion throughout Israel.
As for American Jews, their support for the Democrats is passed on from one generation to another. I don’t know anyone much thinks about it.
That Obamabot joined Sept 11, 2008 (particularly reprehensible).
Ignore the troll.
Stepan12, the Black Hebrew Israelites are a group of racist blacks who believe that the 12 tribes of Israel are 12 mish mash ethnicities in this country, some so closely related that they may as well be the same ethnicity (West Indians and African Americans), and others who in themselves are ethnically mixed (Mexicans, who are comprised of Mestizos, Mayans, Aztecs and Whites). They’re a joke. I always used to make out with one of my white girlfriends in front of them whenever I saw those jokers on the street.
Ciexyz, Yom Tov!!!!
I understand the other states, but what's in Ohio to attract a large Jewish population?
Whats so "shocking"? Obama is pro-Palestinian, supported by Hamas, Muslims and Muslim states, the black racist anti Semite Louis Farrakan, the black racist anti Semite Jeremiah Wright. Palestinians who want to kill the Jews and destroy Israel are manning the phone banks in order to get him elected. He has attended and financially supported a black racist anti Semitic liberation theology church for over 20 years.

Whats so shocking, Jews are fleeing him in droves to McCain because they love Israel, they love themselves and they do not want to end up in concentration camps or gas chambers or ovens all over again.

I thank God that some of the Jews are finally waking up to reality; Obama is a direct threat to Israel and to the lives and well being of Jews both here and abroad.

Sorry, I left off the headers.
It should be “State”, “Jewish Population”, “Total Population”, “Pct of Jews”.
Palin! What a Pumim!
RE: “Jews usually vote Democratic because of social issues, but when the Democratic candidate is pro-Palestinian and seems to be surrounded with anti-Semites, it may change things. Lets hope so.”
Most Jews have voted Dem their whole lives — it’s just what they do and breaking away from that seems unthinkable. Michael Medved said on the radio Tuesday that to most observant Jews, voting Republican would be like eating pork — just NOT done. Pity........
The reform jewish movement is based in Ohio
Not so true anymore. many NY Jews voted for Giulinani and Bloomberg. They will vote for a Republican candidate if the conditions are right.

Ultra rare in California; every Jew in my neighborhood has an Obama sticker on his/her car — and I’m here in “tinseltown.” The Hollywood crowd will never change — very few Jews vote Republican.
“No Way Hussein” must be the new slogan.
One of the Lost Tribes is somewhere in Africa, (don’t remember off hand)
I’m pretty sure the whole “Obamiwitz” shtick is tongue in cheek. In case anyone’s forgotten, it turns out that life long “Irish Catholic” John Kerry’s grandfather was an eastern European immigrant named Cohen who changed his name to Kerry. (He later killed himself in the bathroom of a swank downtown Boston hotel.)
Hillary also discovered that a second cousin’s uncle once married a Hebrew, or some such distant ties. Oy! Who knew?
Obama doesn’t have any real Jewish relatives.
