While trying to understand the rants of the left against Sarah Palin’s mothering abilities, it occurred to me that many of these people criticizing her are treating her like a single parent, because they have absolutely no idea what a fully functional family is like. I am willing to bet that a majority of functional families are conservative. I believe it takes conservative values to create and maintain a fully functional family. These values are beyond the comprehension of those attacking Sarah Palin’s personal life and beliefs. To the left, Sarah Palin threatens the existence of liberal values and as such, she must be destroyed.
The left is looking at her special needs child, her pregnant daughter, and her five children in general as problems that would detract from her ability to govern. In reality, they are opportunities for the family and Todd Palin to step up and take care of the family business to allow Sarah Palin to serve her country. Does this mean that she won’t participate in the family? Of course not. If anyone can do both, she can. But she will do it in partnership with Todd Palin. The extreme liberal left feminists are completely ignoring Todd Palin in the discussion, probably because they have been such a failure in their personal lives that they can’t relate to a fully functional family because they have never participated in one.
Everyone has heard the saying “Behind every successful man there is a woman.” In this case, “Behind every successful woman, there is a man.” That man is Todd Palin. Don't ignore him.
Nah, Todd's as tough a Sarah. They want men who are more like Maude's husband.

I thought i read once that Todd went onto the “View” with Cindy...but i cant find this? Is it true that he went on the view or a show like that?
The MSM acts like Palin has five children under the age of 10 and that all of them need full-time attention.
It’s fair to say that only Piper and Trig really need anything close to that type of monitoring.
I read last night there is a two part documentary about Todd coming up. Can’t remember the channel.

Yes but Margaret Thatcher was seasoned and mature. The media and the gossipy no nothings out there are simply, purely JEALOUS of Gov. Palin. Plain and simple.

Good summary. They don’t seem to realize that treating Todd Palin as if he doesn’t exist is going to turn off male voters as well as women.
I watched him during Sarah’s convention speech, and it was clear to me that he is crazy about her! That’s not really big news because so am I! :)
Todd looks a lot my cousin, a factory maintenance man who always worked the night shift so he could be home with the kids during the day. His wife worked days so she could be home with the kids at night.
He was also around for his mother, who had cancer, and step-father who suffered diabetes.
Great people, great kids. Both kids joined the military and are serving proudly.
The Palins seem like they could be our family, friends and neighbors. What could possibly be wrong with that? Some of the commentators sound so out of touch.

You weren’t supposed to notice that she only has two little ones at home now, and a full-time husband who’s taken care of them before.
