There was perhaps also Donald Young, the gay man in his church who died mysteriously earlier this year.
1. If Obama does this kind of stuff, why is the only "witness" to come forward a known con-artist?
2. Con-artists always sound sincere. That is their stock-in-trade.
3. It is not clear that the mysterious murder of a single gay man in a congregation of 8000 members necessarily reflects on any member of the congregation. It is not that uncommon to hear of of situations in which gay males have been done in by low-life characters in the course of pursuing their lifestyle.
4. Even if Sinclair could prove a connection with Donald Young, which seems more likely since they are both gay, what would that prove about Obama? But Sinclair has not even been able to do this.
If Sinclair were making up this story, why would he set the events in 1999? If his aim was to hurt Senator Obama with salacious allegations of drugs and sex, wouldn't it have been far more effective to place the events closer in time to the present? Why 1999 ...
Because perhaps that is the last time Sinclair can prove he was in Illinois. Because it is so far back the story is harder to check. Because phone companies have already discarded their billing records from 1999.
Some have asked, if Obama knows these Sinclair allegations to be untrue, why hasn't he sued him?
That reminds me of a story about Lyndon Johnson. Johnson was running for re-election and was discussing strategy with a campaign advisor.
Johnson: "Why don't we say that my opponent f**ks pigs?"
Advisor: "Well, I think that there is absolutely no evidence to support such an allegation".

Is there any doubt that if these claims were made about a Republican candidate the NY Times, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, and CBS would be knocking each other over and spending $millions$ investigating?

I spent years in LE. Fraudsters, conmen, grifters, whatever you want to call them always provide enough that may be true, but that is really unimportant, to keep their victims intrigued and interested enough to stay on the hook.
sinclair has been playing certain freepers like the pro that he is. In the process this forum has become his number one outlet.

sinclair (with your constant assistance) continues to spread the lies that obama is a crack-head, murdering queer. There's no evidence or proof or corroborating witnesses but that doesn't stop the conman from seeking his payday (with your help). They are all lies but obama can't address them without giving sinclair a platform from which to spread them further.
How to stop him? Gee, they're the democrats, they have powerful friends, whom can they use? Biden? why not?
The point is that obama using Biden's family power to try to squash sinclair makes sense as a tactic whether or not sinclair is lying. And, it does nothing to prove his story either way.
So you're back to square one....believing the totally unsubstantiated story of a career criminal or demanding proof before accusing anyone of being a crack-head, murdering queer.
I repeat, you are as low as the KOS creeps.
And, as I've offered before...if sinclair provides any genuine proof that obama is in fact guilty of those things that sinclair asserts then I will leave Free Republic forever.
Do you have the balls to do the same if sinclair doesn't provide proof by election day?
