The USA Today/Gallup poll completed on September 7 has the McCain/Palin ticket holding a 10 point lead over Obama/Biden.

This represents the first time McCain has led Obama by a double-digit margin since january, 2007. It also represents a 17 point swing in McCain's favor since the last USAT/Gallup poll completed on August 31 and the first time McCain has led Obama in the RealClearPolitics average since April.
Expect the panic in the Obama camp to spread accordingly.

Some FReepers found a charter flight schedule showing a plane going from Alaska to Middleton, Ohio just outside of Dayton, Ohio and the speculation began that it was Sarah Palin. This was the night before McCain announced her. We all had a blast like kids at Christmas hoping it was Sarah.
Do a search on FR for Dayton, Ohio, etc...
What about a NYT headline claiming that this new baby is a member of the John Birch Society?
There were numerous simultaneous ones, along with threads still running about the wrong nominees (Pawlenty; Romney, etc.)
Maybe Biden can use sock puppets.
And Hillary takes his place? I hope not.
Looks like the undecideds, have decided.
They are in shock that a non-elites (outsider) could throw the polls this way.
They are convinced that this makes the US look like a joke.
I say, this is what makes America America. Anyone can grow up to President, you just need to have values and get involved.
