One interesting side note.
Seems that the people who laughed at Hunter and said he didn’t have enough name recognition are quite content to have a woman even less well known in the number two spot on the ticket.
the fact of the matter is “name recognition” means nothing in a world where true “name recognition” comes AFTER the votes are cast not before... In the PRIMARY .. .vote for the BEST candidate... period... now didn’t I say that 1000 times+ during the primary when all those folks were saying.. “WOW — Duncan Hunter IS the best candidate, but he can’t win because he does not have “name recognition”... GRRRRRR
“Seems that the people who laughed at Hunter and said he didnt have enough name recognition are quite content to have a woman even less well known in the number two spot on the ticket.”
You notice that too? I’ve also noticed the few who are rabid anti gun, anti west, anti rural (you get it) have kept their yaps zipped. That’s pleasant. There was one poster yesterday, sorry, can’t recall who, that insisted the Palins are all hicks. Until I came to FR 10 years ago, I never realized the prejudice against anything NOT big city.
Also, how much name recognition did Obama have nationally before the primary?
