Palin? Perfect (Gov. Sarah Palin GETS THINGS DONE - OIL!)

Palin, for example, represents the frontier. Alaska and its energy development are at the forefront of American interests. As oil prices soar to record levels, the state's oil and gas could free the U.S. from the tyranny of hostile foreign oil suppliers — including Russia, Iran and Venezuela — that are using high prices to amass power and create trouble abroad.

Alaska's leadership will add to Palin's appeal in other frontier states in the Rocky Mountains, Great Plains and pockets of the rural Midwest and mid-Atlantic. Like Alaska with its oil, these are rugged regions desperate to develop their clean coal and shale oil resources.

Democrats at their Denver convention identified them as make-or-break battlegrounds,

From the link, focus on "after 30 years of failure — is a remarkable accomplishment."

Governor Palin is a politician who can get things done!

“Does Biden really want to debate Palin on energy?”

It’s going to be very entertaining, to say the least.

When she asks Joe Gasbag why he voted against the pipeline in 1973 with 4 other senators, that will be classic. Its going to be classic.

Pray for W, Maverick/Palin and Our Troops

You can read anything you want on the news. What the gov and the legislature passed was a thing called AGIA. In a nutshell it grants a “license” to a Canadian pipeline company (Transcanada) to seek permitting for the pipeline. Transcanada does not have the money to build the pipeline, the gas to fill it or the permits (FERC et al). AGIA gives TC $500 million of Alaskan money (my money) to kick start the process. If (when) they can’t get it done the state must give them treble damages ($1.5 bill) for their trouble. The oil producers are starting their own project called Denali to get the pipeline done. They have the money, the gas to fill it and the means to get it done. It is so complicated a 15 second soundbite on the news cannot possibly shed light on this larrgest building project in the history of North America.

But why would even the liberal media give Gov. Palin credit for this?

And I feel that the bottom line is that there will be more oil for Americans!
