The Democrat's convention featured a historic presidential nomination: Barack Obama. He's the first black man to represent a national party, he's very eloquent, smart, gives a great speech and has added an energy to the presidential election unheard of in our history. No matter what you say about the man's politics, one thing that cannot be denied is that this nomination shows that this country is moving forward with regards to race. However, as good as this progress is, there's just one thing about Obama that tarnishes his nomination, and you can see what it is for yourself in this "Geeks On Caffeine" comic. NOTE: The author has requested that freepers visit his web site and refrain from pasting a copy of the comic within the thread. Thanks, and enjoy!
I found GOC about two months ago and like it. Keep up the good work.
Right on right on right on!!!
The only thing missing from the Obama Speech/Rally was Leni Riefenstahl to film it.
The Dems are on the defensive now. With the screaming crowds and the 45th anniversary of the King speech. He truly could have made a very powerful and historical speech that grabbed at American emotion...even GOP and right leaning voters. He chose to do a boilerplate Democratic speech about helpless people with two heads and club feet that need the government to step in for their survival.
Obama is no longer ‘Obama the savior’. He is now Obama the union guy. Not going to work.
One thing for sure, Obama puts on a great half-time show......
The real question is.......Can a rookie, with no executive experience, raised (politically) in an environment of socialism and corruption, really be the “Leader of the Free World”?
President Obama......a (political) oxymoron.......
