Incredible that people want more Government, of course when you dont have to contribute to society only collect from these programs the game is well understood.

ACORN is the most corrupt "community organization" in the history of the United States. In terms of charges and convictions, ACORN is worse than the legendary Tammany Hall in NY City, and Tammany is older than the United States itself.

ACORN has to be hung around Obama's neck like a rotting albatross. IMHO.

With federal funding I assume they’re open to audits and a lot more oversight, maybe?

It's bad enough that American taxpayers have to bail out the privately owned, tax-exempt Freddie Mae and Freddie Mac.

Do they not believe in proof-reading or something?

I’m curious to know whether Soros will have his fingers in these proposed no loss “public-private investment partnerships” Geitner announced recently. Seems right up Soros’ alley, although I’m sure he would find a way to launder the money for PR purposes.
