My wife and I just got off the phone with our daughter who lives in the same area as Sarah Palin. Our daughter was heavily involved in the communities of Palmer and Wasilla when she was a branch manager of a locally owned bank in and around Anchorage and was involved in many small meetings with Sarah Palin, even though their individual contact was only casual. Both are super high achievers in the Anchorage area.
I bring this up as an anecdotal story because my daughter is blonde, beautiful and a dynamic high achiever like Sarah Palin. But she is also a hard-core liberal, atheist, vegetarian tree-hugger (please pray for her salvation, as I do), which gives her the credibility to speak against Palin...which she does not!
What she has said about Palin is that she is direct, blunt and on target with what has to be done! My daughter thinks extremely highly of her for her motivation, drive, ethics, vision and direction.
My daughter's only misgivings about her (because she is a flaming vegetarian herself) is that Sarah Palin hunts and loves moose stew!
Trust me this is a crowning recommendation from another super achiever!

fyi....my wife was leaning towards Obama. We watched the announcement at noon today and she immediately changed her stance as she watched Palin speak. Her immediate switch blew me away.

On a more serious note, I have seen cooking pots in South America with lots of parrots simmering in them. Mr. .22 had met Mr/Mrs/MS parrot.

There is a post on DU that’s titled something to the effect of “Do Not Underestimate Sarah Palin.”
The author of the post seems quite thoughtful and explains why, though he wouldn’t endorse her, he does seem to feel she’s a formidable opponent.
Unfortunately, some don’t seem to be listening but he sounds very credible to me.
Palin will shame all the liberal men into a psychotic, agonizing self-reappraisal.
Their hairy wives are going to be apoplectic.
