Joseph R. Biden III, (right) son of presumptuous Democratic Vice Presidential nominee Joseph R. Biden II, through his Deputy Attorney General Susan Dwyer, threatens to seek a life sentence in a Delaware case that the Attorney General for Delaware has repeatedly refused to provide any documentation or discovery as requested and as is required by Delaware law. Joseph R. Biden II is rumored to have known of his selection as Obamas VP choice as early as Wednesday, August 20, 2008. ...

Larry Sinclair comes across to me as a complete jerk.
Why should we pay attention to this?
There would appear to be a conflict of interest at this point.
Well, it's not unlike the legal system to screw with people they don't like. That much is credible.
Larry, if you’re listening; it’s coming out that Obama’s high school mentor and ‘close associate’ was bi....
I have EXTREME doubts about the guy, but anything that keeps Obama off-guard is fine with me. I just won’t lie about him or anyone else. Obama could have addressed this with a sypathetic tone long ago: “I feel bad for this troubled man...” or something, but maybe he’s never been asked.
With what is he charged that he is threatened with a life sentence and for which he had been offered the acceptance of a misdemeanor plea?
Quite a difference between a life sentence and a fine.
Why? Was Barry in Gurnee, Illinois in 1999? Who was his limo driver? Where are Barry's travel records and meeting schedules?
What was the "degree of separation" between murdered gay choir director at Rev Wright's church and Barry? What about the other murders of gay church members in a 40 day period, all characterized as "execution style"? Are there phone records to either dispute or prove Larry's phone call from the murder victim?
When asked about drug abuse, is Barry on record saying the last "experimental use" was 1999? If so, with whom, who provided it, and where?
If Larry Sinclair isn't even considered a "smear", is this episode simply a quirky and exotic pit stop in Barry's Wild Ride to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue?
Larry is an idiot, but there may be some facts somewhere in all of this, but no one wants to "go there". It highlights Barry's odd associations in his past leading up to his Presidential run (most of whom he has disassociated himself from). There is a deafening lack of recordkeeping in Barry's stint in Springfield. Why?
I think there is enough to sink Obama’s candidacy on the Ayers connection.
Beating the Sinclair drum just makes one look like a kook.
It looks like there are enough drums to go around. Ayers is old-school anarchy. Obama and Osama have some commonality - both have close friends who bombed the Pentagon.
Sinclair is slightly more recent and has connections to murder, corruption in the Chicago Police Dept, phone records, Rev Wright's church, gay sex, drugs, Biden's niece, silence from the drive-by media, no mention as a "smear" from the campaign, and ties to Arkansas. It is an interesting drum. I'm not necessarily beating it, but I like the rhythm.

I think he's charged with forgery and/or larceny. He also has a current warrant out in Colorado for the same thing, and has had multiple convictions for thefts and forgeries in the past. He even got 16 year in prison for it once. Having three or more prior felonies, he qualifies as a habitual offender and as such could do life in prison in Delaware if convicted on another felony. It looks like the prosecutor has offered him a misdemeanor to get rid of the case, but Sinclair is bucking that. He says this is all a conspiracy to shut him up, which doesn't make a lot of sense since the prosecutors are willing to get rid of the case with a misdemeanor conviction. That wouldn't shut him up. Nothing shuts this guy up. I am a criminal defense attorney myself and this is not the kind of person we want to represent. He's an idiot with a big mouth who makes his attorney's job impossible. I am not surprised at all that his attorney withdrew from his case. With all his priors plus the warrant from Colorado, my gut tells me he's guilty as can be on the Delaware charges too. He'd better watch himself or he's liable to get some serious time on this case. He'd better reconsider the misdemeanor deal if he hasn't ruined that mouthing about the prosecutors.
Why should we pay attention to this?
Larry is a jerk but more interesting is that both Ayers and Frank Marshall Davis admit to bi-sexuality.
