IMHO, I have a weakness for goth chicks but for the most part I will have to say no. It is trying way too hard. Think about Amy Lee, she can look very dark and goth, but I've never seen her wear black lipstick.

Even in some of the darkest Euro goth/metal bands, the female lead singers don't wear black lipstick.

I guess it's OK if you happen to be a zombie. A real zombie, that is, not one of those voodoo zombie phonies.
