I Smell a Clinton Coup Brewing
Cross Action News ^ | 8-19-08 | JB Williams

After Barockstar’s near fatal empty suit performance at Saddleback Saturday, the Obama spin machine is in damage control overdrive. I wonder if they‘ve had time to realize that they have been triangulated by the Clinton war room and set up to take a fall at the DNC convention?

That old Clinton war room stench is in the air again… It seems the empty suit and his empty headed staff is not quite up to speed on Clintonian strategeries.

Emptysuit v. Crustypantsuit

Really, I don’t want Hillary in a coup. I think Obama will be easier to beat.

Not going to happen, and I've got a bet for a dinner at Long Island's most expensive restaurant with my wife. If I win she takes me out for pizza.

There are too many downsides for the Clintons to attempt this. If they try and are unsuccessful they destroy unity and will never again be any kind of player in Dem politics.Even a win in Nov by the haloed one will result in a cry for vengeance. A defeat would cause a demand for permanent exile.

If she wins, the outcry among African Americans and the haloed ones OBAMABOTS would make a victory in NOV doubtful, at best. The Obamabots would stay home and the Clintons wil bring out conservatives with a determination not to give the Clintons another four years. McCain could name Lieberman his VP and it would not keep conservatives home.

Barring some sort of astounding news being introduced in the next week, Hillary and Bill will have to be satisfied with the Bloodsworth Thomason movie.

Scenario: HRC is known to have compiled dossiers on her political enemies in the past. Suppose she has come across some tidbit of information that would, if leaked to the media, destroy the Obama candidacy. Using this info, she can:

• sit on it “for the good of the party”
• reveal it to Obama secretly, but not to the media
• leak it to the media during the convention

If she chooses option 1, she’ll have an invincible political tool with which to manipulate Obama should he win the big prize. If she chooses 2, she can twist Obama’s arm until he gives her the VP spot or maybe even some sort of co-presidency setup. And if she chooses 3, she can zing the Obama campaign at the worst possible moment — during prime time at the convention. As the vultures of the media swoop down for the feast, HRC comes riding in on a white horse to humbly accept the nomination...

There’s also option 4 — she can leak the big secret to John McCain, and allow him to deploy it on his own schedule. Depending on when the McCain camp reveals it to the media, she could gain any of the above benefits while retaining the appearance of clean hands. She could then lambaste McCain for practicing the “politics of personal destruction” and accept a chastened Obama into her administration to use as a political puppet.

HRC isn’t stupid. If she does have the goods on Obama, you can bet she’ll pick the most opportune time to reveal them. I look forward to the fireworks in Denver...

DiFi is not allowed to fly...if she left California now, she could make it to Denver by car or train by next Monday. Do you think she's just making excuses?

Clinton war room stench?

It’s just plain Clinton stench.

I’d still take Hillary over Obama, and I despise Hillary.

“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.” Charles Dickens springs to mind as I read this.

Best of times - RATs in disarray, suffering from buyers remorse. Should they pull this off, there are going to be some really P.O.’d people and Denver could wind up making Chicago look like an 1890’s church social.

Worst of times - have we ever had less qualified, more egotistical people running for the highest office in the land? The hot air given off by the candidates wuld be enough to run this country for a hundred years. The only worse candidates would be Ken and Barbie! And even they would do what we wanted.

You are SO right! The Clintons have been very, very quiet. Not a good sign for BHO. I’m sure their minions have been working over-time digging up every little tidbit they can on Hussein.

Democrats have a very hard time dealing with reality. Obama's bad performance so far is not Obama's fault. It's due to McCain cheating, vicious racial slurs, people not smart enough to understand his thoughtful nuanced positions. They will blame everyone and everything else rather than face the fact that they have clunker of a candidate. In order for Hillary to take over, they will have to make that admission to the whole country as well as themselves. Even if the superdelegates can do that, the rank and file Ombamites cannot. Those who have sold themselves on the promise of 'hope' and 'change' are too emotionally invested in the personality cult to support and old political usurper like Hillary.

In my estimation, Denver is not only going to need Gitmo on the Platte for the outside shennanigans, but it looks like they'll need a temporary morgue for the inside of the convention as well.

Right now, Hillary is the closest to becoming President herself that she ever will be in her life.
She will not be waiting for Obama to have one or two terms, which would bring her out to 2016, when she will be 69. That’s only two years younger than McCain is now.Besides, there will not be enough Botox in the world to keep her face from dragging on the ground by then.

Hillary has been co-President and is a veteran of innumerable political scandals involving her and her husband. She has never lost. People have died, been murdered, been raped, been sexually assaulted, banks have failed, people’s fortunes lost, civil servants crucified, evidence tampered with, planes crashed, people ruined, people die in prison, testimony perjured and not once has she been brought to justice of any kind.

From her never equalled feat with cattle futures in 1978 to now, she has an unbroken thirty year string of crimes along with her husband.

She is not about to let a Marxist piker poser from Chicago beat her to the high prize.

She has spent as fortune to get her 18 million votes, her delegates, and she is only 300 delegates behind The Empty Suit.

No, she is so close she can taste it. And there are a ton of people who will benefit handsomely if Hill and Bill return to the White House, far more than Obama’s cadre.

The Berlin speech and the Saddleback disaster has proven to the Dem leaders, shakers, and superdelegates that Obama can not close the deal in November and deliver the goods to the Dems.

Even now as we talk about it, Hillary and her flying monkeys are peeling off superdelegates from Obama. And I agree with you, Edwards was exposed by Hillary because The Breck Girl crossed her when she needed him most. And with Hillary, there is always hell to pay. And she will be working his delegates over as well. Now that Florida and Michigan are fully seated, there’s more ore for Hillary to mine.

With a 300 delegate spread between her and Obama, she only needs to turn 151 to her to win this.

And who knows what to make of the death of the Arkansas Dem Party head last week. Gee, just like Lee Harvey Oswald, the murderer is cut down—how convenient. What are the chances that this would happen in all places in Little Rock, AK, the Clinton’s home base for the last three decades? There was a message there for somebody.

No, she’s going for the gold. She will get more votes than Hussein on the first ballot and pandemonium will erupt. On the second ballot, she will win as delegates are no longer pledged to their original candidates.

She will be packaged as the savior to a failing Dem campaign and presumed nominee. Next week you will witness Clinton, Inc. at its finest.

But people say, the blacks will bolt. That calculation has already been made by Hillary. Most blacks will not bolt the Dems—that means there gravy train will come to an end. The race baiters will have no seat at the table, and that cannot be allowed to happen. They won’t fall on their sword for the Obamanation.

Especially if Hillary gives them a good reason that Obama needs to be disqualified. With the MSM resuming their role as the Clinton echo chamber, you will witness a 180 degree turn in the propaganda, and they won’t even flinch in the MSM.

It comes down to this—Hillary can beat McCain. Obama cannot. The Dems want to win, and they will hitch their wagon to whomever can get them the prize.

The superdelegates came into being after the disastrous loss by McGovern in 1972. Party leaders said—never again. The role of the superdelegates is to exert control over the pick of the hoi polloi in case it is extreme, and Obama has been shown to be extreme.

Rather than lose, they will chose to win. Candidate substitution—the Dems did that in NJ with Torricelli being replaced by Lautenberg in clear violation of NJ election law. The NJ Supremes said” there has to be a choice” totally ignoring the fact that with the Dem candidate dropping out, there were still four other candidates running for the Senate.

Hillary has come a long way, and she is “in no ways tired.”
She’s been President before and she will not be denied.
She is in it to win it.
