Russian aggression is the worst it has been in 40 years, Georgian civilians are dying in the streets, Poland is threatened with nuclear annihilation, and Ukraine looks to be in the crosshairs. McCain is hammering the Russians every day while Condoleeza Rice goes to Georgia to demand Russia's immediate withdrawal. And here is Obama, in a picture worth a thousand (wrong) words.

It's best to dwell on what Bush 43 and Condi are planning now and on how McCain is presenting himself as strong, determined, and aware of the threat. Let the haloed one disappear during the crisis. Attacking him is easily deflected as he has no standing to do anything and his distancing himself is ensuring that America speaks with the voice of the duly elected President. I'm not giving him props for this, just suggesting that this is not a productive line of attack.

Virginia Governor Tim (Spock) Kaine says he gets credit for the “cease-fire” in Georgia; so CLEARLY B. Hussein has the ability to use his magical powers to cure the world even BEFORE he becomes president.

Most of America is kicking back and relaxing right now. The Olympics are on, the price of gas is slowly unwinding, and it’s freaking hot. So I don’t think most people are going to blame him for taking a swim in Hawaii.
And as for dork pictures, which is really the problem with Dukakis in the tank, Obama doesn’t look very dorky in that pic.
It looks like he is in about 6 inches of water.
It does look like sand the bottom portion of the image!
Even his wife looks a little freaked out there!!

No. He is just body surfing. And I’m jealous. I LOVE body surfing. Unfortunately the waves here in Florida are not that great for body surfing. When I live in Puerto Rico I spent HOURS each day at the beach doing nothing but body surfing. The Atlantic side of PR has some great waves.
