Delusional obsession. What else could explain people like Dan Rather, who still think the forged TANG documents - shown to have been created using a modern word processing program - are real even though the evidence is overwhelmingly against such conclusions? I have no clue, but to take clear evidence that something is a forgery and try to create some fantasy rationale that it really proves legitimacy is the epitome of obsession.
And while the left has Dan Rather and his cult, or the Downing Street Memo Cult, the right has The Cult of the COLB (aka, Certificate Of Live Birth). Check out how this CULT leader detects forgery when confronted with solid proof of legitimacy. It all starts with one of those flashing overlays from Snappedshot showing BHO COLB (2007) and another known HI COLB (2002):

It is clear from this that the known update in format between the 2002 and 2007 (BHO) COLB is the border pattern, but the text stays put - as one would expect. So, what does this demonstrate to the one Polarik, a blogger at Townhall who help start this idiocy? Proof of conspiracy of course!

This dude needs therapy. Because the Obama COLB has the same format as another COLB it is now a fake??? But before there were all these mysterious differences that made the OBAMA COLB fake - which were one by one debunked. I wish this guy would make up his mind.

Polarik, once again AJStrata gives a very weak defense of Obama’s COLB. But he does manage to insult you in the process.
Just post a certified copy and an affidavit form the HI SOS or local county. Shouldn’t be too difficult.
He’d have to reveal the thing on his website is a forgery to do so. So don’t hold your breath.
It seems to me that if Obama’s mother was American, he’s American, no matter where born.
What is the supposition to the contrary?
HE POSTED A FORGERY on his website claiming it is a real certificate of live birth. It is not real. That ALONE should disqualify him, regardless of the place/status of his birth.
According to the law of the day, if Obama were born abroad with a foreign father, his mother would have had to have lived for at least five years in the US after the age of 16. So she would have had to be at least 21 for her son to automatically be born a citizen, and she was only 18 when he was born.
Hence the to-do about the birth certificate. If you could prove that Obama wasn't born in the US, he would not have been a "natural-born citizen" and hence he would be ineligible for the Presidency.
But it's such a stretch. Was his mother really going to get on a plane in those days and go half-way around the world to a country where she wasn't wanted -- while she was pregnant? Doesn't seem very likely at all.

Not true. Please go to Obama Truth File and review this. If he was not born in the USA the law at the time states that his natural born citizenship would be doubtful because his mother lacked residency requirements.
And he apparently throws like a girl. He can’t hit the broad side of a barn.
The issue is not the birth cetificate.

The issue is too the forgery. No matter the status of his birth. Pawning this forgery off as legit is grounds for removing him from his Senate seat, as well as disqualifying him for POTUS.

Obama and/or his staff obviously have seen all the discussions of this COLB. It would seem to me that he (Obama) could put an end to this mess by simply providing a copy of his COLB which his books say he has. If so, why not provide same, unless he really has something to hide. Its really difficult to hide something in an empty Marxist suit.... so WHY doesn’t HE bring forth the REAL COLB? Only thing I can guess is that it proves his mother was not married legally to the Senior Obama... who seems to have gotten lots of women into the same predicament.

You STILL do not comprehend the argument being made. I don’t care if he was born in Hawaii, Illinois, Tehran, or Biafra. That does not change the FACT that the COLB is a forgery.

***Didn’t the same blogger (Texas Darlin) who found that announcement find that Obama’s sister was reportedly born twice, in 2 different countries? That shows that Obama’s mother was fluent in tweaking the immigration system to her child’s benefit.

Texasdarlin had a post on July 19-08 (BO was born in two hospitals, Sister Maya was born twice). It says there is a report that Maya was born in 1970, and another that she was born in 1971. Apparently Maya gave an interview to some magazine saying she was born in Java; but
there is a copy of a Birth Certificate in the TD post showing a birth in Hawaii in 1971, AND that “birth certificate” has a NUMBER in it.
Can you make anything out of the data and number on that posted “birth certificate”?
