Genius. It is so good, I had to wait till the end to see if it was really paid for by McCain. It’s the real deal.

at three minutes long, this one isn’t going on TV...it’s still good, but why would McCain make an add like this that won’t go on TV? Do they expect it go viral on YewTube?

It’s good, but a bit too long. Besides, it has too many Joe Scarborough and Tucker Clarkson. Aren’t these two at least nominally Republicans? The clips about Hillary’s Democrat supporters and Chrissy Matthews are great, though.

I loved the ending. The whole thing was great!

If it goes over well, it’s tons of free publicity and you don’t need to do the media buy. You can always cut it down to :30 or :45 and slap it on TV if it works.

As I stated on the other thread about this “commerical” it’s lame, lackluster and watching paint dry is more exciting. McCain’s PR folks are failing miserably.

Agreed. I want to see some smash-mouth ads on TV. Internet stuff is largely “preaching to the choir”.

With the Four Seasons background it hits home. It should be easy to cut down. I’d focus on Chrissy and NBC’s Cowan and Hillary’s flying monkeys. It could easily be a winner at 60 seconds. It would put the meda on the defensive and maybe force a little fairness.

I couldn’t get to the ending...I wanted to vomit after the first minute- not because the ad was bad but because I can’t believe adults ACTUALLY act like this (as you can tell I never watch msnbc)....

Seriously, when did we become France? I still shower every day - will that be the case when my European overlords start calling the shots?

I think I just threw up in my mouth a little bit after having to watch that. I never watch any of those networks and it seems so amazing to me their unobjectivity.

The nice part is Mac showing enough chutzpah to knock their teeth out with a smile on his face.

Incoherently choppy or choppily incoherent. Not of national TV ad quality.

It's adequate for YouTube, and makes us freepers feel good....that's about it.

All these ‘RAT girlymen trying to pass themselves off as American males has to have John Wayne spinning in his grave. I’ve seen BO on TV a few times and I haven’t experienced a tingle running down my leg. I guess I’m not “patriotic” enough.

You enjoy watching paint dry more than I do.

Since you’re so critical, why don’t you try your hand?

What have you got?

The surge did work; and surges like these will work. Just read Jonah Goldberg’s on the surge. I don’t think he’s wrong in re the Iraq surge; I think he’s missing the point of the current surge.
