Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread - Tuesday 7/22/08

A very early ping. Tom is out of pocket and I'm pinging and running off to the doctor.
I've been quietly recovering from surgery but lurk most days on the thread.
Step up to the plate you big hitters. You know who you are.

Obama: ‘There’s no doubt that General Petraeus does not want a timetable.’
Obama:
[T]here is no doubt that security has improved. And there’s no doubt that the extraordinary sacrifices of American men and women in uniform have contributed to that success. In terms of, my conversations with General Petraeus, there’s no doubt that General Petraeus does not want a timetable. I think he has said that publicly. And he is, and as I said, in his role, he wants maximum flexibility to be able to do what he believes needs to be done inside of Iraq. But keep in mind, for example, one of General Petraeus’s responsibilities is not to think about how could we be using some of that $10 billion a month to shore up a U.S. economy that is really hurting right now? If I’m President of the United States, that is part of my responsibility.
—Sorry, General. Your concerns about flexibility to secure what we’ve gained to the surge will have to take a back seat to President Obama’s spending priorities.

I think you're right...he likes too. But let's look at why he is not that fond of women. It's because he goes for the young blonds who only want his money and notoriety. If he wants a girlfriend, he should find a women is own age with her own money and some intelligence. He deserves what he gets with the young blonds........when it comes to women, Rush is blind.

Is Swingtown still on?? I saw about 2 minutes of it and my parents said the 70s were not that - maybe it was in HOLLYWEIRD but not in most of the USA!

Maybe the divorce hurt him a lot more than he lets on?
That said, I have a pretty thick skin, and usually enjoy his gibes at liberal women. I find them pretty intolerable, actually. And, I have every right to say that.

I'm trying not to think about how he USED the media to undercut President Bush, our mission, and other Republicans all these years.
But, this election is not about McCain at all, it is about Hussein, a confidence man and grifter of the highest order.
Along with the type of men Obama will welcome into our White House. We cannot let traitors get this close to our National Security apparatus.

To be honest, in NYC with Studio 54 and Plato’s Retreat, Swingtown is comparatively mild.

It's a show geared to the liberal NYC single girl in their late 30’s showing their “agony” as they frantically search for Mr. ($)right and what they go through to get there. Very revealing about how certain parts of the society have evolved.

The man has absolutely no ability to think on his feet... How scary is it that the MSM ignores it too?
Barry could get us into a nuclear war with Russia with his abilities.

Was this the clip played on ABC in which he was asked if he had to do it over whether he would have supported the surge knowing then what he knows now and he said “No, [insert Porky Pig “Buh-THEE, buh-THEE, buh-THEE. That’s all, folks!” brain static]”

Just too good! As we all know since the UN is involved in Afghanistan it's the only “good” war.
