Obama slips 6% in the polls since June. He's now at 42%, down from 48%.
McCain, on the other hand, hasn't lost ground. He's still hanging in there at 41%.

Hmmm. Maybe we ought to keep Mr. Audacity on the world tour. Maybe he could be a crowd warmer-upper for Madonna on her "Sticky and Sweet" world tour. Oh, but wait. Maybe that's not such a good idea. She's in the middle of a meltdown and her manager is threatening to quit because of her cantankerousness. Translated, that means diva moods I guess. And she's anemic, so all her great preachy routines about health were just for show. They didn't really keep her healthy, apparently. And then there's that knee injury, which means she can't bend like she used to. Too many parallels here? Who'd be riding whose coattails?

What the Rasmussen poll shows that's even more telling is this: Voters say they trust McCain more on national security: 53% to 39%.
And if you want to be really specific and talk just about Iraq, voters favor McCain with 49% to 37%.
Back to Barry. He's said all he has to say about just about everything anyway. Now he's even putting words in Maliki's mouth. (Just in case we didn't get it - you know, the world according to Barry O.) Barry says Maliki agrees with him that a troop withdrawal ought to be at hand in sixteen months or so. In fact, Maliki's office issued a statement of misunderstanding for Barry O's rhetoric.

What Maliki really said was, "When the conditions are right, and the entire country is stabilized from a security perspective, then a timeline is appropriate and in order."
Hey Barry, you can't just take the first sentence of a paragraph and use it, then throw the rest of the paragraph away. You would have flunked debate if you had thrown away a premise like that! But you're probably relying on voters to either not know that or not care.
What off-the-cuff eloquence!

The part that makes me want to scream like a little girl and run and hide is knowing that there are so many in this country who can listen to him say something that conveys not one iota of actual meaning and come away convinced that your comment is or should be sincere rather than sarcastic! Worse yet these people are allowed to vote!
Back when Obama and Hillary were still slugging it out in the primaries someone from the DNC was on television saying that the Democrats had, “an embarrassment of riches” because they had two such highly qualified candidates! AAArrrggghhh, where is the nearest cave?
If you watched any of his speech in Jordan today you know he is about to take a fall.
He wants to end the war in Iraq and expand the war in Afghanistan.
His sycophants must just love that idea.
Could the wheels be coming of Little Barry’s Magic Tricycle?
“If you really want the truth, look at the Democrat versus Republican House averages. The Democrats hold a strong 11+% lead and have for some time. Also, in the real poll that matters, Obama has nearly a 100 point lead in the Electoral College.
Remember, the popular vote does not count. (yet anyway)
I do not advocate Obama, I simply look at realistic facts and appreciate honesty above all else. Having a McCain pep fest is just fine, but at least center it on the truth, which seems to be so difficult for both parties these days.”
The primary factor that may ultimately get McCain elected is “racial fear” (call it “racism” if you wish).
This is why McCain still stands a chance this time, vis-a-vis the dismal prospects Republicans face in both the House and Senate this November.
It will work _this time_ because such “fear” still exists in the [dwindling] Euro-majority population. But that population is gradually shrinking, and - as an election strategy - it won’t succeed forever.
But if we truly want to win this time, we’d better be prepared to use it while it still can be used. Or, if not, to consider the consequences...

The link in the article takes you back to the current Rasmussen poll.
And you’re right — the polls are not particularly predictive, but I find some comfort in seeing Barry’s numbers starting to dwindle.
I just hope the rate of decline accelerates. I think it will between now and November.
Nah, just a tire change. His groupie media pit crew will have him back on the track in no time.
I understand your meaning but I addressed this in a post a few days ago. Chauncey actually was a gardener who was misunderstood to say that his last name was Gardener. Therefore Chauncey actually had a useful real world skill, one that could earn him a living. What real world skill (con artist does not count) does Obamalamadingdong have? I think he is nothing more than an affirmative action puppet for someone, probably Soros.
