Fortunately Reagan knew he wasn’t God. Too bad the grand old plantation has decided that they are.

To paraphrase Bill Clinton, it all depends on what the meaning of the word Republican is.

Thou shalt not speak ill of any other republican. Nope. Sorry. Most of today's republicans don't have a republican bone in their body.

I think that just applies to members of the republican party. I am no longer a member of the party - so I’ll feel free to criticize them when they deserve it (which is often).

I wish we Republicans were as loyal to our candidate as “dim”ocrats are to theirs, but alas, we are not. If our candidate doesn’t meet every requirement that the hard core right of our party demand, then they take the attitude, scr*w him. The “dims” on the other hand, would vote for their man, no matter how evil or foul smelling that candidate might be....sad, so sad.

Too bad McCain never followed this Commandment. That is part of why conservatives have no strong love for him. He and Romney are more than willing to throw anyone under the bus.

That makes us an intellectually stronger party than the democrats, which do not allow for dissenting views from the party orthodoxy... What Republican Party is he talking about?

I am a maverick this year. Just that word “obey” in the title of this BS turns me off.
I don’t intend to OBEY the GOP this time around. Its kind of sickening.

Even Reagan got a few things wrong & this was one of them. But I do not think he would be silent about the current gang of Idiot Enabling Leadership called the GOP either. I don't think Reagan would want people to be silent over the current wrongs both parties leadership are doing to us in the name of bipartisan politics. Nor would I think he would expect us to support such Fer Der Good Of Der Party Horse Hillary.

Putting aside the fact that Reagan himself went after an incumbent Republican President tooth and nail, and very nearly knocked him off, I’m glad I don’t have to pay any attention to this phony “commandment” personally, not being a Republican any more.
The McCain Whig Party is headed for the ash heap.

"Yes, every family has disagreements, but we cannot let the outsiders overrun us by weakening ourselves. We are all we have."The GOP is in no way like family to me and I don't obey on command. Anytime a person starts using President Reagan, God rest his soul, to convince you to vote for the likes of John McCain, they have lost all other arguments and are grasping at straws to bolster their position.
