Obamas speech on the war in Iraq and national security this morning in Washington D.C. is no strategy at all; it is the same stale mantra of useless promises based on disputed facts. I was right all along Obama proclaimed. We never should have went into Iraq because Iraq had nothing to do with the 9/11 attacks. This argument might have held some water during the 2004 presidential election, but the year is 2008, and a lot has happened since then.

Obamas hawkish position toward Afghanistan is a change from his anti war stance in Iraq.
In an Obama Administration with a Democrat congress, both Iraq and Afghanistan are toast. Negotiations will lose both countries to the Islamists. His advisers have said that the Taliban "has a legitimate place in the Afghan government".
If he doesn't pull out of Iraq with a settlement negotiated with the neighbors (read Iran), his own party will fry his uh . . . well that part of his body Jesse is so fond of.
Just his speech?
I still don't think Obama can win this election. He's too naive and inexperienced! He's going to get us all killed!
