Who knew that Wayfarers originally marketed as sunglasses for pilots, would become an object of cult fashion?

The “plastic” is harder than glass, won’t scratch, and has less distortion than plastic. (I became partial to Oakleys in service to Uncle Sam, as well, different generation.)

I much prefer the glass lenses although I wish they had some polarization.....

With clear lenses, those would make you look like Colonel Sanders or Estes Kefauver.
I like Wayfarers...worn them for 35+ years....not the same pair...;)
