Vote fraud news: Obama, ACORN, and East St. Louis

Vote fraud is a serious issue, which the Democratic Party and the mainstream media has had success in linking it to the Republicans, going back to the 2000 Florida recount debacle and the historical fiction of Ohio and Diebold in 2004.

That same year, irregularities in Wisconsin, which allows same-day voter registration, arguably allowed the Democrats to steal Wisconsin and its 11 electoral votes.

For instance, in addition to felons voting illegally in America's Dairyland, people voting twice, the number of votes counted in Milwaukee County, the state's most populous, exceeded the number of people who actually exercised their franchise.

Captain's Quarters has a good summary of the scandal written in 2005.

Things weren't much better in 2000, the year of the "smokes for votes" drive.

Bush lost Wisconsin by 5,000 votes in 2000, 11,000 in 2004.

Late last month six people hired by ACORN were indicted for their role in filing false voter registration forms involving a 2006 drive to increase Missouri's minimum wage.

Here's how FrontPage Magazine's Discover The Network describes ACORN:

Largest radical group in America, with 175,000 dues-paying member families, and more than 850 chapters in 70 US cities

Implicated in numerous reports of fraudulent voter registration, vote-rigging, voter intimidation, and vote-for-pay scams during the 2004 election

Maintains close ties to organized labor

ACORN is a former legal client of Senator Obama's, as the Sun-Times reported in 2006:

In 1995, former Republican Gov. Jim Edgar refused to implement the federal "Motor Voter" law, which Republicans argued could invite fraud and which some Republicans feared could swell the ranks of Democratic voters.

The law mandated people be allowed to register to vote in government offices such as driver's license renewal centers.

Obama sued on behalf of ACORN, the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now. The League of Women Voters and other public-interest groups joined in.

"He and his client were the ones who filed the original case -- they blazed the trail," said Paul Mollica, who represented the League.

On New Year's Eve, Obama said he won't tolerate vote theft.

True, lawyers often have to work with clients who are creeps, although I'm pretty sure Senator Obama doesn't view ACORN as creepy.

But if Obama is going to pander to the tin-foil hat crowd on Republican "vote fraud," then his feet need to be put to the fire on documented cases of election thievery involving his party.

For instance, when Obama clobbered Alan Keyes to win his US Senate seat, federal officials uncovered a widespread ring of vote-buying in East St. Louis. Some voters were given additional incentives to vote such as alcohol and cigarettes. Calling East St. Louis a Democratic stronghold is a great understatement.

Up in Morton Grove, I voted that day and I was not paid, nor did I receive smokesor booze. In short, even though the Democrats didn't need those ESL votes to annihilate the Republican ticket in Illinois, I feel that fraud had been committed against me on Election Day in 2004.

What about my right to participate in "free and equal" elections, which are promised to me in the Illinois Constitution, Article III, Section 3?

C'mon Senator...speak out!

Since BHO lists his top qualification for POTUS is his time as an Community Organizer, on could rightfully conclude he shares the beliefs of the Association of Community Organizers for Reform-Now

They will work very hard to do the same and more this go around.

Obama's experience as a "community organizer", which, IMHO, is just another way of saying marxist enabler, and black liberation theology enabler (which two are tied at the hip), qualifies him to preside over just this sort of voter fraud.

Vote fraud news: Obama, ACORN, and East St. Louis

East St. Louis, which should be the prime example listing in encyclopedias
as “Great Cities That Self-Destructed”.

East St. Louis
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/East_St._Louis,_Illinois

As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 31,542,
less than half its peak in 1959. Like many larger industrial
cities, it was severely affected by loss of jobs in the restructuring
of the railroad industry and deindustrialization of the Rust Belt
in the second half of the 20th century.

East St. Louis was named an All-America City in 1959, having retained
prosperity through the decade as its population reached a peak of
82,295 residents. As a number of local factories began to close because
of changes in industry, the railroad and meatpacking industries
also restructured, leading to a precipitous loss of working and
middle-class jobs.

In The Simpsons episode “They Saved Lisa’s Brain,” the local chapter
of Mensa takes over the government of Springfield and improves the
city to 299th place on America’s list of 300 most livable cities,
displacing East St. Louis. According to the DVD commentary for this
episode, this joke caused a lot of controversy.

We should not all same day voter registration as that allows for voter fraud.........

“That same year, irregularities in Wisconsin, which allows same-day voter registration, arguably allowed the Democrats to steal Wisconsin and its 11 electoral votes.”

Fraud in East St. Louis? Nah, can't be.

It doesn't seem to surprise anyone with more people vote there than are actually registered? Doesn't that happen EVERYWHERE?

"irregularities"

There were additionally Dem operatives who passed out favors (smokes) to street people in Milwaukee to get them to vote for the Donkey Party in 2000. In 2004 Dem youths vandalized Republican vehicles right before the election. If something smelly is going on, it's usually Dems creating the foul odor.

Isn't East St. Louis in the same state as CHICAGO, home of "I see dead voters"?
