Besides, I think Bush has a greater risk of being assassinated. There was, a few years back, an attempt to kill Bush, but it failed (unfortunately - I know that's a terrible thing to say, but...).Re: Another reason why I love Barack!!
That comment is here [http://my.barackobama.com/page/community/post/samgrahamfelsen/CxSx/commentary] on Obama Hussein's Barck's website. Obama's team manages to delete [http://atlasshrugs2000.typepad.com/atlas_shrugs/2008/06/jihad-jemaah-is.html] every reference to fighting the jihad ( my friend Winged Hussar had a post devoted to fighting the jihad, and it was summarily taken down with 24 hours) every reference to Obama's OWN WORDS, and yet Obama sanctions the most vile garbage.

...Levinson sent it to me and opined, "The individual did not personally threaten the President, which would be a Federal crime reportable to the U.S. Secret Service, but he wishes that he had been killed. The owner of the blog, who could have deleted this comment, IS an official blogger with the Obama campaign (Sam Graham-Felsen). Note, however, that at least one person had the common sense to realize there was something wrong with this". Here's the link:

If I were an older African-American, I wouldn't worry about Obama's potential assassination. The Secret Service guys are doing a great job. If Obama was a target, an attempt would have been made by now.Besides, I think Bush has a greater risk of being assassinated. On another note, all blog owners at my.barackobama.com DO have the power to delete comments that they consider "offensive" or "disrespectful," and so do the site's administrators. This comment appeared as a response to the blog of Sam Graham-Felsen, who DOES hold an official position with the Obama campaign. It has been up since November 2007.
PING!
Wow...
Probably nobody who logs on that site reports it as abuse...
Did you report it?
Secret Service needs to investigate.
Let’s put Rep. Henry “Nostralitis” Waxman away for good!
Re: “Probably nobody who logs on that site reports it as abuse... Did you report it?”
When I last checked, I could not find a pay stub from the Obama campaign for monitoring or moderating my.barackobama.com. It seems that I am not on their payroll, but they do have people who are paid to do this. Their administrators are very diligent about finding and deleting material that is critical of Obama, so they ought to be able to find and delete this sort of thing as well-especially on a blog as prominent as Graham-Felsen’s.
Unless material on Obama’s site is actually illegal or libelous, I don’t see myself has having any obligation to do the job Obama’s site administrators get paid to do. I did report another comment that had libelous content, i.e. was intended to injure a person (corporate or individual, no need to specify) with a false accusation of criminal activity.
It was Bush I who was targeted for assassination - by Saddam Hussein.
Ol' "Double Barrel" Waxman.
Re: “Secret Service needs to investigate.”
There is a big difference between wishing that something bad would happen to someone and threatening to make it happen, or urging others to do it. The first is offensive, bad taste, and so on (e.g. expressing delight over a political opponent’s illness) but it is not illegal as far as I know. The second is.
I am not an attorney, but several years ago I got a hate E-mail that said, “Animals like you should be killed” and “we have already tracked you down.” The “we have tracked you down” was in the context of reporting my Web site to the government, for all the good it would have done him, but he didn’t need to “track me down” to do that. I considered it sufficiently threatening to report it to the authorities, but they said that, because the individual had merely expressed a WISH that I be killed without saying that he planned to do it, he hadn’t actually broken the law.
I just asked the admin to remove this. I’ll see what happens.
Re: “I just asked the admin to remove this. Ill see what happens.”
They will probably “disappear” it now that it has become a liability to Obama, just like they “disappeared” Jeremiah Wright’s and Michael Pfleger’s endorsements.
Re: I just asked the admin to remove this. Ill see what happens.
Be sure to download the page and take screenshots (one is already posted at Atlas Shrugs). Don’t let Obama sweep this one under the rug.
Why should they report it. Stuff like that only makes that site look bad and might repel voters away from Obama. I say don’t say a word and let everyone see what kind of people are supporting Obama.
Yet the people who posted abortion doctor names with them crossed-off when killed in a veiled threat went to jail. Methinks prosecution of veiled death threats is not consistent.
Sick. That is the only word for it.
Second, keep exposing the Obama people for the vile and evil scumbags that they are.
Third, try to ping the anti-McCain people so that we can ensure they read about the people they are going to elect while they sit on their hands in November.
I don't like McCain at all, but it's this type of Obama camp nastiness that has catapaulted me into McCain's camp. Without McCain, I fear our Republic will be fatally covered in Obama's scum if he should win.
This Nation is worth fighting for, and I am going to vote McCain if it means keeping these NASTY Obama people away from controlling my taxpayer dollars.
Can you imagine how these people will act if Obama wins? Just imagine Obama running our military into the ground, or imagine Obama holding the keys to our nuclear arsenal.
Just imagine his absolute lack of support for Israel during their darkest hour.
Yeah, I believe McCain will be a reasonably good manager of the national interest. Security will be maintained (at least to the level it is now), and the grownups will be in charge. Beyond that we’ll probably have to oppose him at every turn, but at least the lights will stay on and who knows, maybe he’ll surprise us, in a good way.
It is now 915 PM ET ad it is still there.
What? What? What? uh, sick.
