Afghanis Get It, Too Bad Anti-Gun Elitists Don’t: NRA To Target Chicago + Neighboring Suburban Hand Gun Bans, After Supreme Court Ruling

Commentary by Bill Zettler *

According to the Associated Press, June 27, 2008, "The number of civilians killed in fighting between insurgents and security forces in Afghanistan has soared by two-thirds in the first half of this year, to almost 700 people, a senior U.N. official said Sunday."

We have all seen pictures on TV of Afghan citizens walking the streets with AK-47's draped over their shoulders. And who can forget the Afghan weddings where hundreds of shots are fired in the air to celebrate the event. Every Afghan male who can afford a gun has one and, more often than not, they are assault rifles like the AK-47.

To the average Afghani, the recent U.S. Supreme Court decision regarding the right to bear arms in your own home for self-defense must seem like a no-brainer. In fact, the Afghan people must be shaking their heads, trying to figure out ...

Unfortunately, for the many residents in Arab countries struck by those "shots fired into the air"..., those firing the shots never figured out that what goes up must come down!

As for Reverend Jesse Jackson, he is going to lead a protest against gun shops in Chicago.

Jesse Jackson is no more a reverend than I am. He has not earned a divinity degree, nor has he ever had a congregation. He attended the Chicago Seminary for one year and dropped (flunked?) out. Likewise, Al Sharpton does not deserve the title. While Jackson did attend college, Sharpton is a high school dropout. So where does he get the right to claim his title? A DC preacher "ordained" him at age 10. So, please MSM, drop the pretense for these two charlatans...they are professional pot-stirrers whose only job is to portray blacks as victims rather than point the finger at the real source of their problems: themselves.

Uh...that would also be true in San Antonio, where deaths and injuries result every New Year’s Eve because Mexicans haven’t figured gravity out either.

When all a community has for roll models are thugs turned athletes, and movie stars, in other words, people who pretend to be somebody else, they have to create some type of roll model. I guess they believe that throwing the word Rev. in front of their name they can somehow create roll models, even though jackson and sharpton are nothing more than hanger onners and extortionists. The only way they have to make money is to threaten white businesses and personalities. You'll notice the only things they ever associate themselves with are businesses with deeeeeep pockets. And then they show up in a church on Sunday and praaaaaaaise the Lord. Kind of like the racist Wright. Their are plenty of excellent black roll models, but unfortunately because they don't wear gold chains or dunk a basketball behind their head they aren't qualified. These roll models actually use their brains and function normally in society, so they are branded to white to be a good roll model!!

Here’s an interesting article about “falling bullets” terminal velocity” and what damage may or may not result, if you are interested:

Exactly. Plus, when they are proved to be wrong and supporting the wrong side of an issue (e.g., the Duke case, Tawana Brawley, etc.), they never apologize. In fact, when Sharpton was confronted after Brawley was found guilty of false accusations, his response: “I'm supposed to feel guilty for supporting a sister?” Of course you are, you friggin’ idiot! But you lack the brains, decency, and social grace to know it.
